Biden’s New Plan Is To Turn Texas Into An Open-Air Prison Colony For Illegal Immigrants

Joe Biden has a serious problem. He wants two mutually-exclusive things.

On one hand, he wants to flood America with people from Somewhere Else. We can debate the motive behind that all day long (and there are probably several different ones coming together) but policy and behavior of Democrats makes their objective clear.

When Dems have power to do so, they remove barriers to illegal entry. When someone else has power to limit illegal entry — even with something as anodyne and passive as temporary physical barriers made out of shipping containers — they fight it in court.

On the other hand, this policy is triggering a NIMBY problem.

For example:

Or, as the NYPost so aptly put it:

The problem is Biden and his administration’s unsustainable policies. But nobody on the left is willing to say so. Instead, they blame Republicans on border states for sending their problem to sanctuary cities.

For context: border states have seen several million people wander in across the border illegally — to say nothing of the relaxed ‘legal’ means Biden has opened for anyone wandering into the country.

Compare the burden of those numbers to the hundred thousand or so new arrivals that one of the world’s largest, wealthiest, and most influential cities cannot cope with and you get a sense of the strain border states have been enduring.

With the political futures of (purple) Arizona on a knife’s edge for Democrats, and Kristin Sinema making an issue of immigration, is it any wonder that the Biden administration has quietly closed many of the gaps in Trump’s wall with a different fencing system?

But Texas is a different story. Biden allies WANT red states to suffer… especially states like Florida and Texas.

Which brings us to the Biden administration’s latest plan to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to turn Texas into one giant holding cell for illegal immigrants.

I mean, if his buddy Xi can have prison colonies, why can’t Joe Biden have one, too?

The Biden administration is considering forcing some migrant families who enter the country without authorization to remain near the border in Texas while awaiting asylum screening, effectively limiting their ability to travel within the United States, three U.S. officials told The Times.

Administration officials have been considering the idea as a way to stem recent increases in the numbers of migrant families crossing the southern border, which reportedly reached an all-time high last month. Supporters of the remain-in-Texas idea, which has yet to be finalized, hope that it would help the administration advance its goals of quickly deporting families who fail initial asylum screenings and deterring other families from crossing in the first place.

But the proposal, which recalls President Reagan’s efforts to limit asylum seekers’ movements in the late 1980s, is likely to draw fierce opposition from immigrant rights groups and border-state officials. Since 2022, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, a Republican, has bused thousands of migrants out of his state to Democrat-run cities such as Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C.

The Biden plan would force certain migrant families to remain in Texas — or possibly other border states — by tracking their location through GPS monitoring devices, such as ankle bracelets, according to the three officials, who were not authorized to speak publicly on the matter. The families would be put through an asylum screening process to determine whether they could stay in the U.S. and proceed with their claims. Officials have discussed working with local organizations to provide housing for the families. — LATimes

Isn’t it interesting that THIS is the plan for how to HOUSE illegal immigrants at the very same moment that Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to tear away any passive barrier — including the barrier of buoys in the Rio Grande — that makes it harder for the cartels to orchestrate mass influxes of illegals at one border location, tying up staff and resources so that they can penetrate our border with contraband and trafficked persons in another location.

It only took 19 people to carry out the events of 9/11. Meanwhile, Border Patrol gives us news like this:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection flagged approximately 75,000 illegal immigrants as being possible national security threats or having terroristic ties in the previous 10 months leading up to August 2023, the Daily Caller reported.

CBP data showed that between October 2022 and August 2023, 74,904 illegal aliens were labeled as “SIA Encounters,” which stands for “Special Interest Alien.”

According to a Department of Homeland Security article, an SIA is a “non-U.S. person” who potentially “poses a national security risk to the United States or its interests.” — Blaze

And the Democrat solution is ‘Texas can have them’?

No.

Gov Abbott has already made his response to this scheme.

“Biden considers forcing migrant families to remain in Texas. This scam was tried years ago & was shot down by a judge,” Abbott said on X, formerly known as Twitter. “We will send Biden the same swift justice.”

“And, we will add even more buses of migrants to Washington D.C.,” he said. — FoxNews

And really, why would he just roll over and take whatever raw deal Biden shafts him with?

Texas has never billed itself as a sanctuary state.

Texans don’t want any part of Biden’s plan to flood the country with illegals. So why should they have to bear the burden?

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
