TERROR ATTACK: ‘Rainbow Bridge’ At Niagra Falls Closed After Vehicle Explosion Kills 2
Vehicle traffic has been suspended at the height of travel

At the time this story went live, there was reporting that this had been a terror attack.
It has since come to light that details of the original story we had been told were incorrect. The explosion was in fact a $300k Bentley that launched itself at some incredible speed, rolled in the air and smashed into the barrier in a fireball.

A vehicle packed with explosives blew up while crossing from Canada into New York.
Driver and occupant of the vehicle have not yet been named. Reports have declared them both dead. No other casualties are yet reported.
A source with knowledge of the situation told The Buffalo News that a vehicle crossing from Canada into the United States approached the Rainbow Bridge at a high rate of speed and crashed into an abutment. The vehicle then exploded.
All other international bridges connecting the United States and Canada closed within the hour, authorities announced shortly before 1 p.m.
Gov. Kathy Hochul said about a half hour later that she is traveling to Buffalo after being briefed on the incident. — BuffaloNews
It is still unclear whether this bridge was the ultimate intended target or whether this was a panic response in reaction to some unanticipated aspect of border security.
