While Dems Worry About Islamophobia, Another Anti-Jewish Attack Results In Terror Charges
Woman charged with terror after ramming her car in what she thought was a Jewish school
The irony of this crime is that the anti-semitic attack accidentally targeted a different group that is — you can’t make this up — antagonistic to Jewish people.
It’s been a little more than a week or so since Biden and Kamala stood up and warned about the dangers of Islamophibia in response to the war between Hamas and Israel.
(For context, let’s keep in mind, besides just being a ‘foreign war’, some American citizens have been held hostage by Hamas for fully a month now, while others were murdered in cold blood.)
Liz Warren is STILL beating that old drum. (So to speak.)
You misspelled Jews. https://t.co/k1cJPO8gp7

Meanwhile, in ACTUAL America, Ventura County police in CA just finished a news conference about an elderly Jewish man whose death was ruled a homicide after being struck in the head with a megaphone by an assailant who just ‘happened’ to be participating in a Pro-Palestine/Anti-Israel rally at the time, and the last photo of the victim — taken about 5 minutes before his death — shows him holding an Israeli flag.
Besides this, there has been a steady stream of anecdotes of angry invective, intimidation, physical violence at rallies, destruction of property (including photos of the missing people currently being held hostage by a terrorist group).
We’ve also seen a number of prominent people making public statements either in support of the Hamas terrorists, or derogatory of Jewish people, some of which have cost people their jobs, others of which have been walked back or denounced by others. In one instance a public defender in New York pulled down these posters with an air of defiance while others challenged her for doing so.
Large crowds poured into city streets armed with ready-made signs to chant slogans calling for the dissolution of Israel.
While there have been examples of violence in the other direction, including one documented stabbing there is only one group being told to think twice before wearing their identifying religious garb in certain public places.
To that list we can now add the domestic terror attack charges levied against one woman who thought she was ramming her car into a Jewish school.
If someone rams a car into what they think is a Jewish school, the only reasonable objective one can infer is an attempt to murder the children inside. Fortunately, this would-be terrorist wasn’t too bright. The building she chose as her target was not actually a Jewish school.
IMPD officers arrested a woman, who police labeled a “terrorist,” after she drove her car into a building in what she described as a planned attack on the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge.

We already know a little bit about the story leading up to the crime.
Law enforcement said one adult and four children — aged between 7 months and 3 years old — were in the Israelite School of Universal and Practical Knowledge when Ruba Almaghtheh crashed her car into the building. No injuries were reported.
[…]
Almaghtheh drove her Chevy Impala into the school building at 11:30 p.m. Friday, according to police. It’s not clear whether prosecutors will pursue a hate crime charge against her.
The press release stated that Almaghtheh “told one officer she has been watching the news and couldn’t breathe anymore.” It also said she “referenced her people back in Palestine.”
“She said she passed by a couple times and saw the `Israel school,”’ the press release said, adding she later stated, “Yes. I did it on purpose.” — TheHill
And about the group she accidentally targeted…
The Anti-Defamation League describes the Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge as an “extreme and antisemitic sect of Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI) who believe that they are the only true BHI group because of ties to early organizations.” — TheHill
If only we had some idea about what kind of inciting incident might have set her off.
No… hold on, I think we have that information too.
Almaghtheh told police she watched TV news coverage of the Israel-Hamas war and decided to plan an attack by crashing into the Indianapolis building, according to an affidavit.

Her people back in Palestine, eh?
Gee, what are the odds of someone bringing misdirected racial violence to our shores? Or of acting on grudges and grievances brought along with them from the old country?
Maybe there’s a REASON America has historically tried to be a melting pot rather than a ‘mosaic’… it’s almost as if a balkanized society is a more brittle and dangerous one.
