BRAIN-DEAD: Biden Comes Off Looking RIDICULOUS In Hur’s Report

So much for that 'bump' in credibility the SOTU was supposed to give him

Joe Biden is caught in a trap with this testimony. Since the facts of the case have him dead to rights — the only thing saving his bacon is that he’s too brain-dead to hold him accountable.

Contrary to the official spin doctoring of the White House, the facts of the case were objectively sufficient to lay charges, because real wrongdoing had taken place.

The question Hur says he had to grapple with was: could a jury be persuaded to convict him?

The answer he came back with was ‘no’. He incensed the left by stating his reason for not pressing charges. The perception of Joe Biden as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Dems were furious about that and raged against that assessment, alternately praising his intelligence in other occasions, or looking for ‘gotcha’ quotes that made his political rival look bad.

On the day that both parties have officially locked in their candidates for a rematch of the 2020 race, Dems did not want to see the return of a Brain-Dead Biden narrative.

Transcripts of Hur’s interviews with Biden released Tuesday and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon support Hur’s assessment that there are “significant limitations” surrounding Biden’s memory. Throughout the five hours of interviews on Oct. 8 and 9, Biden struggled to recall relevant details about his handling of classified records or when he served as vice president.

The transcript also confirms Biden could not recall when his son, Beau, died, and further shows that the president raised that subject unprompted—contradicting the president’s claim during a Feb. 8 press conference that Hur raised the subject.

But the transcripts also reveal that Biden went off on a number of tangents during his interviews with special counsel Robert Hur, including anecdotes about what sound a car makes, a “risqué” bathing suit his 72-year-old wife wears, and a horrific industrial accident where a young man’s genitalia was burned off.

Early on in his Oct. 8 interview with Hur, the special counsel asked Biden if he ever transferred any documents from his vice presidential residence to his primary Delaware residence. Biden answered that he did “occasionally,” and as he provided context to his answer, the president deemed it necessary to mention that first lady Jill Biden looks great in a bikini.

Because nothing says ‘dialed in’ quite like using the occasion of a criminal investigation as a jumping-off point for talking about some poor sap who lost a testicle and part of his penis in an industrial accident.

And did we mention the vroom-vroom noises Joe made when talking about his car?

Most people in America — and plenty of people abroad could tell you which years each of the last few Presidents spent in office.

But Joe Biden? He can’t seem to remember… despite having BEEN on the ticket.

And the guy who can’t stop talking about Beau? Can’t remember when his own son died.

So which is it, Joe?

Are you mentally sound enough to run for re-election — and be held accountable for several felonies?

Or are you so soft in the head that you can’t be held accountable — and not only shouldn’t run the country, but shouldn’t even be trusted with the keys to your own car?

Because even if there isn’t enough in here for him to stand trial — there’s certainly enough here for him to be impeached — supposing the GOP actually has the stomach for it.
