Squatter Problem? Free Market Succeeds Where Law Enforcement Fails (VIDEO)
Someone cheating you out of your property? There's hope.
Some laws are so badly written that criminals can exploit the system and enjoy legal protections while they screw over honest citizens.
The latest example of this is the rise of ‘squatters’ moving into unoccupied homes and claiming to be protected by a legal lease.
What do you do when even law enforcement is helpless and left scratching their heads? Until recently, there was nothing you could do. Nobody had come up with a solution for it, because there was no need.
But squatters can cost homeowners (not to mention insurance companies) a ton of money. It was only a matter of time before some entrepreneurial-minded person found a way to monetize that problem.
Homeowners have had a long and healthy relationship with contractors, there’s ‘a guy’ you can call for pretty much any project, from foundation repair to roofing, from plumbing to pool installation. Now, there’s one more service you can add to that list.
The Squatter Squad.

This is the video of the men at work. This clipped is marked as being ‘Day 2’. You’ll see they’ve taken up the chain link fence, and backed up some big work trucks onto the lawn to take care of business.
The door comes off, they walk through the building, make sure the squatters are cleared out, and then they hand off the now-uninhabited site to whoever the homeowner has lined up to put in new doors and whatever other changes, repairs or upgrades need to be taken care of once the criminals have been chased out.
It’s a pretty efficient system, and not a bad way for blue collar workers who know their way around a worksite to make a positive difference in their world.
Isn’t it amazing how often the solution to ‘bad men doing bad things’ comes down to something as straightforward as ‘good men doing good things’?
