Defending The Resurrection Against The Naysayers
If a skeptic rolls up demanding a defence of the foundation stone of your faith... are you ready for him?

Many devout Christians who take care never to commit major moral failings completely overlook another key commandment of scripture — are you one of them?
Pulling money out of someone’s wallet, knocking boots with the neighbor’s wife, and misuse of the Divine Name. It’s easy enough to find folks who would agree these clear red lines should never be crossed by anyone calling himself by the name of Christian.
But what less obvious biblical expectations — once that don’t just lay down red lines we shouldn’t cross, but insist on us living up to specific examples of a positive good?
Suppose someone asked you to make a case for why you are a Christian and think others should be too. Would stand there with your mouth open like a landed fish, or would you smile warmly at the opportunity: ‘I’m so glad you asked’.
In 1 Peter 3:15, we are told to be ready ‘in season or out of season’ to give an answer for the hope that is in us.
Since God’s own word points to the resurrection as the falsifiability test that Christian belief must pass to be logically sound, Christians should be ready for the most obvious challenge a skeptic would throw at us.
Why should anyone believe that Christ rose from the dead?
Why stop at just one reason? We’ve got plenty!
By the time this is over, you will too?
