Talk Back To The Devil

Here's a great list of proclamations that every Christian should keep handy when they get spiritually attacked by the powers of darkness. Enjoy and share!

Here’s a great list of proclamations that every Christian should keep handy when they get spiritually attacked by the powers of darkness. Enjoy and share!

When demons condemn you remind them that, according to Col.1:6, you’re under grace.

When demons call you stupid, remind them that Jesus is your source of all wisdom and understanding. (Col. 1:9)

When demons call you weak, remind them about Jesus’ glorious might (Col. 1:11) that he’s freely extended to you.

When demons make you question your salvation, remind them that God rescued you from the domain of darkness, and transferred you to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom you have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Col. 1:13-14)

When demons create chaos in your life, remind them that Jesus is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Col. 1:17).

When demons look like they’re winning in the world, remind them Jesus is the head of the body, the church; and he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he himself will come to have first place in everything. (Col. 1:18)

When demons decry you as unholy, remind them that Jesus has reconciled you in his fleshly body through death, in order to present you before him holy and blameless and beyond reproach. (Col. 1:22)

When demons tell you you’re beyond redemption, remind them that when you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, Jesus made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions. (Col. 2:13)

When demons make you despair because of your sins, remind them that Jesus disarmed their satanic rulers and authorities … he made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through the cross and that you have been specifically chosen by God. (Col. 2:15; 3:12)

When demons tempt you to think God’s ticked off at you remind them that the peace of Christ rules in your heart. (Col. 3:15)

When demons tell you you’re a spiritual orphan remind them that, au contraire, God is your loving Father. (Col. 3:17)

When Jesus was tempted by the Devil in the wilderness, Jesus countered el Diablo’s lies and temptations with the Word of God (Matt. 4:1-11).

Please note …
Jesus didn’t quote Oprah.
Jesus didn’t quote the virgin Mary.
Jesus didn’t quote a positive meme He saw on Instagram.
Jesus didn’t quote Tony Robbins.
Jesus didn’t quote The Pope.
Jesus didn’t quote The Southern Baptist Convention.

He proclaimed the Word of God when Satan came against Him. Jesus fought Satan’s words with the Word of God, and it worked. Shocker, eh? Yep, Jesus spanked Lucifer with epic scriptural counterpunches and the Slithering One left black-eyed with his tail between his legs. Indeed, Jesus talked back to the Devil, with the Word of God, and so should we. That’s how we tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). So … let’s get busy declaring out loud God’s Word!
