Biden’s Spokesmuppet Accidentally Admitted Joe Will Break His ‘No New Taxes’ Promise

Does Biden even understand his own policies?

Some of us are old enough to remember why the words ‘read my lips, no new taxes’ were devastating to a political campaign.

One of the promises that Joe has been making since the last election is that nobody making less than $400k would see a jump in taxes.

Riiiight. And the Media (D) actually believe him.

As it happens, that’s a lie. We all knew it was a lie, but now we can give you proof of it in their own words. Of course, they probably won’t understand how they’ve done so unless we spell it out in small words, so… let’s put it in terms even the journos could understand.

KJP affirmed one of the policies that Biden himself has been touting — an end to the Trump tax cuts.

REPORTER: “The president said he wants to let the Trump tax cuts expire. If that law expires, it does raise taxes on almost every American. Does he still support that expiring without anything else in place?”

KJP: “The president is going to allow the Trump tax cut expire. He was very clear. But he will not raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,000/year…It’s going to expire for the wealthy.”

REPORTER: “The president can’t pick and choose which parts of the law sunsets. The entire law will sunset, and the Tax Foundation says that someone who’s married, two kids, making $85,000 would pay $1,700 more in taxes. That’s somebody under $400K—”

KJP: BUT REPUBLICANS.

There’s no way out of this trap Dems have set for themselves. From the beginning, Nancy Pelosi and the left have been lying to our faces about the true nature of the Trump tax cuts. The called it a ‘tax cut for the rich’ for exactly one reason. They wanted that narrative not because it accurately described the tax cut. It was no more ‘tax cut for the rich’ than Biden’s ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ was reducing inflation, or Obama care was ‘affordable healthcare’.

In reality, the tax data itself contradicts the Biden talking points. Here’s Yahoo Finance, hardly a right-wing stronghold, describing the data in an article from the Biden’s first election run:

So here are the results of the Trump tax cuts:

–The income tax burden for high earners increased $16 billion to 40 percent of the total owed.

–The income tax burden for middle class earners decreased by $31 billion to 13 percent of the total owed.

–The income tax burden for low wage workers decreased by $4 billion to 1 percent of the total owed.

Doesn’t sound much like a tax cut for the wealthy.

So why does Biden keep saying what he says? To quote Ronald Reagan: “It isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.”YahooFinance

This is the summary at the end of the article. The rest of the source article gives chapter and verse for how much each income bracket saved.

That’s just the raw numbers. This doesn’t include other ‘hidden taxes’ like bracket creep bumping people into higher tax brackets, despite inflation eroding their buying power.

Inflation, itself, is often described as a ‘hidden tax’… a way to manage the national debt by making the dollar less valuable. Of course, that ‘benefit’ comes with a corresponding cost, borne disproportionately by the working poor and anyone on a fixed income.

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
