DEMENTIA JOE: White House Has ‘Corrected’ Biden’s Public Remarks 148 Times Since January
Bumbling, broken-brain Biden is constantly flubbing public remarks. No joke.

It’s pretty clear to anyone paying any attention at all that President Joe Biden isn’t as sharp as he was a few years ago.
Of course, that’s not saying much since he’s clearly always been kinda dull, but here we are with obvious cognitive decline added to a sub-par intellect.
Ladies and Gents, here’s the Leader of the Free World speaking at the NAACP this week:

Fox News provided a helpful visual.
Yikes.
If Joe Biden had an “R” after his name, the late-night comedy shows would be funny again.
The White House has been making frequent corrections to Biden’s public addresses in the official transcripts. And by “frequent”, I mean frequent.
The White House releases an official transcript anytime the president gives a speech or takes questions. Communications staff frequently correct, add to or alter Biden’s official remarks in order to either bring them into compliance with official White House policy or, in some cases, reality, a Daily Caller analysis showed. In several cases, official statements had to be changed to convey the exact opposite of what Biden actually said.
Through 118 statements, speeches and chats with reporters spanning from Jan. 1 to April 24, the White House has officially updated its transcript with corrections to what the president said out loud at least 148 times.
Some of the modifications include corrections to names, dates and titles of organizations. Others change verbs and modify the meaning of the president’s statement entirely. Words that the president didn’t say, but should’ve, according to the White House staff, have also been added to the transcripts.

The Ruthless Podcast hosts have said that the easiest job in the world is Democrat Press Secretary. That’s probably true since the press largely gives them a free pass and will cooperate with a Democrat’s spin on pretty much anything.
If that’s the case, then perhaps the most difficult job in politics right now is also working in White House Comms — the poor soul who has to transcribe Biden’s public remarks. The fellas at Ruthless call him “Bracket Man” because of the frequent use of square brackets to fix Biden’s verbal gaffes, “senior moments”, and outright lies.
The Daily Caller’s article cited above is actually a little unwitting homage to Bracket Man highlighting some of his best work.
Here are a couple of examples.
On February 7, during a campaign event in New York, Biden told the crowd that he spoke to a woman whose daughters had “stage 2 diabetes.”
“I was at a town meeting in Northern Virginia, and a very — a very together lady stood up with her two daughters and said, ‘My daughters have stage 2 [Type 1] diabetes. They need insulin. And I — I have insurance, but I can’t afford what it’s costing me — $700 a month for two of them,'” reads the corrected White House transcript.
There are also cases where he just completely forgot reality.
At a February 22 campaign reception in California, when touting his appointment of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, Biden didn’t seem to recall that there have been other black SCOTUS Justices. Not even one currently on the court with a rather infamous confirmation hearing where Biden was Chair of the Judiciary Committee and actively involved in that “high-tech lynching.”
“I kept my promise to appoint the first Black [woman] Supreme Court justice,” reads the corrected transcript.
Other times, Bracket Man just inserts words that whoever is actually running the White House wished Biden had said. In a March 9 campaign event in Georgia, the White House added the word “historic” in a reference to Vice President Kamala Harris to highlight Biden’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) street cred.
“Because unlike Donald Trump, I know who we are as Americans. (Applause.) It’s why I promised to have an administration that looks like America. (Applause.) The most diverse Cabinet and administration in American history led by a [historic] Vice President,” declares the transcript.
On January 5, Biden forgot to include the “T” for the current cause célèbre — transgenderism — in the ever-expanding Alphabet acronym, so Bracket Man put it in for him.
“And look at what these autocrats are doing to limit freedom in their countries. They’re limiting freedom of speech, freedom of press, freedom to assemble, women’s rights, LGB[T]Q rights, people are going to jail, so much more,” reads the transcript.
The Daily Caller also compared the corrections made by the Biden White House and the Trump White House. Considering the Democrat and media (but I repeat myself) push to invoke the 25th Amendment against Trump, the results are telling.
- For remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast, Biden’s White House made 8 corrections; only one change was made to Trump’s transcript where he missed the word “at” in a quote.
- Biden’s Earth Day remarks were also corrected 8 times, but there were no adjustments to Trump’s transcript.
The Daily Caller also examined five speeches at random from the first few months of 2020. In those, Trump’s White House did not correct the transcripts with the same frequency or manner as Biden’s. The former president’s remarks did contain some corrections, primarily him mispronouncing or stumbling over words…
…In total, Biden flubbed the names or titles of individuals, places and groups 20 times spanning from Jan. 1 to April 24, according to a Daily Caller analysis. The president misrepresented the numbers of his accomplishments and often confused the difference between thousands, millions, billions and trillions, 12 times.
When recounting stories, a Daily Caller analysis found that Biden often confused pronouns, for example, sometimes saying “we” instead of “he” when referencing former President Donald Trump. The White House transcripts corrects this 13 times.
The president has also had twenty mix-ups when referencing healthcare that the White House corrected. He confused seniors with disabilities as seniors with “diabetes” and called Roe v Wade “Roe v Ward.”

… this President is a walking billboard for the need for cognitive tests for public officials of a certain vintage. If Grandpa Joe shouldn’t be driving on public roads, he shouldn’t be making decisions about the country. That shouldn’t be a controversial position.
It’s not like we don’t have a million examples of his cognitive impairment.
Who could forget the State of the Union moment where he called the young woman killed by an illegal alien “Lincoln” instead of Laken Riley?
That time, Bracket Man did a little clean-up claiming Biden said “Lanken” in the transcript, but we all can hear the truth.

The 81-year-old President cannot stop stumbling, mumbling, and bumbling, but he’s still running for a second term.

Good luck, Bracket Man. Good luck.
Check out Doug’s latest book, The Art of Joe: The Political Brilliance of President Biden. If you have left-leaning family members, workmates, or classmates, buy several copies and place them in common areas. Make sure you have your video camera ready for when they pick it up and thumb through it because they will be triggered which will make for a great viral video to share across social media. Also, buy a couple for the GOP NeverTrumpers that you know. Finally, both the book’s cover and the epilogue, Notable Quotable Joe are worth the price of admission. We’ve included before and after Biden on Afghanistan. Jen Psaki will no likey this book, but you will. BTW, the book is 95% bereft of any content. Just like Biden’s head.
