GENIUS: Scott Adams Starts Superthread For Debunking Media Hoaxes

One thing that separates us from leftists is the belief that the antidote for bad speech is not censorship, but better speech.

For the entirety of Trump’s time as a politician, there has been a deliberated and coordinated campaign to discredit Trump in small ways and large with an endless drip-drip-drip of negativity with the intent that it would cripple his Presidency, set up impeachment opportunities, and sufficiently damage him in the public eye that he could never be re-elected.

Don’t take our word for it, Clinton Allies put their plan in writing before Trump was even sworn in. David Brock’s 49 page “Media Matters War Plan 2017”

Part of that plan (before Trump was even sworn in!) included a campaign to criminalize Trump (sound familiar?) by the very same organization that recently went to court in an effort to keep Trump off the ballots.

Media Matters, American Bridge, CREW, and Shareblue all had a role to play in discrediting and defaming him. That included a media strategy that was aided and abetted by Big Tech and the corporate media.

Russiagate and Very Fine People were some of the most prominent hoaxes, but there were many, many more from the big stories to the little niggling lies whose only purpose was to make Trump look inept. Hunter’s laptop Russian disinformation? Drinking Bleach? Horse Paste? Trump calling vets suckers and losers? Lab Leak? All the way down to feeding the koi in Japan.

Because we are up against an organized disinformation campaign by the people whose role in our system is to give us access to the truth… we needed another tool to shine the light of truth into the Darkness folks like WaPo spread in an effort to help Democracy Die.

Having an interest in this topic — he is not a conservative, by the way — Scott Adams decided to use his not-significant social media platform as a clearing-house for the actual truth that our media is refusing to disclose to the public.

(Link here.)

It’s quickly filling up with examples ranging from Russiagate and mocked a disabled guy, to ‘grabbed the steering wheel on J6’ and Bible photo op hoax, to the ‘suckers and losers’ and ‘tax cuts for the wealthy’.

It’s the kind of handy resource that could be bookmarked and used as a model for other people and platforms to use as a counterweight to the endless gaslighting we are subject to… instead of getting bogged down in tedious debates about the same points.

The best versions of the debunking (assuming you are trying to convince someone on the left) is, whenever possible, to use resources from the political left to prove your point. That way you can’t dismiss it as mere right-wing bias.

That’s why it mattered when Snopes (seen as a ‘credible’ source to the left, but a shoestring mom-and-pop clown show with an ax to grind to the right) finally admitted last weekend that Charlottesville ‘very fine people’ line of attack against Trump has been a lie the whole time.

Pushing back against the media smear machine is a titanic task, but you if you’re going to eat the elephant, you gotta start somewhere. And this is a decent place to start.

I Talk Back to the Devil is an action manual that sports thirty pure fire proclamations against the powers of darkness in three different categories covering, the wealth, the walk and the warfare of the Christian against Satan and his defeated ilk.

This NEW book will put a serrated edge on the Christian’s prayer life in these troubled times. This slim tome will embolden the believer to stop taking Satan’s crap.
