Patriots Celebrate America’s Birthday & Dems Are Stuck With Dirty Leadership Dilemma

For a party whose entire brand is being the great defenders of Democracy against the encroaching threat of the Big Bad GOP, they must be hoping Americans don’t look under the hood at who they REALLY are.

July 4th is America’s birthday. We ought to be celebrating the shared benefits of the liberty purchased for all American citizens at the high price of lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.

It’s been obvious since long before he was sworn in that Joe Biden is a pale shadow of the guy who kicked Paul Ryan’s ass in the 2012 debates. But establishment Democrats are so used to rigging the game in their favor and having the media sing from the songsheet provided that it never occured to anyone to ask whether they could be making a mistake.

In 2016, party insiders rigged the game so that Hillary could finish ahead of Bernie Sanders despite his enormous party support either because it was ‘her turn’ or because it was thought she could beat Trump but Bernie could not.

In 2020, with votes being split between a ton of candidates, Bernie was gaining ground on the rest of the pack leading into Super Tuesday. Then, miraculously, most of the people running in the same lane as Joe dropped out just in time for Super Tuesday. He got some key endorsements, while hard left candidates like Liz ‘Pocahontas’ Warren continued to bleed support away from Bernie.

In 2024, it was obvious even to the casual observer that Joe Biden was a compromised candidate. The only unanswered question for the public was the full extent of the cognitive decline we could all see unfolding before us.

The DNC establishment pushed all its chips in on their incumbent. They rigged the game against anyone who dared to run against him. They froze a Kennedy out of the primary process. A KENNEDY! He was run out of the party and had to run as an ‘Independent’!

The entire party, administration, and media apparatus locked shields around him. He was the standard-bearer for the leftist movement. And he was as good a president as could possibly be hoped for. Government insiders and academics threw their weight behind him and his policy.

And then came the debate. It was bad, and everyone knew it.

Almost a week later, we still don’t have a unified voice for what comes next. His spokesmuppet is shopping excuses. Pelosi is floating the possibility that he might have ‘a condition’. Devoutly leftwing media outlets are calling for his resignation.

But we’ve got a problem.

Even if Joe does manage to ‘exit stage left’ willingly or under duress… even if they can find a way to jump through all the hoops for getting a replacement candidate on the ballot in every state, there is STILL the question of the ‘consent of the governed’.

For a party whose entire brand is ‘defending democracy’… how do they even make a pretense of putting forward any party leader NOT named Joe Biden and claiming the people have spoken?

The party brass — and their complicit lackeys in government, bureaucracy, and media — have painted themselves into a corner. They floated an empty suit candidate knowing he was an empty suit thinking they could con the public one more time and… if push came to shove… have him quietly pass the torch to Kamala so they could bank yet another ‘historic first’.
