OOPS: Powell Admits An Uncomfortable Truth That Vindicates Trump’s Agenda

He said a little TOO much when he admitted the reason we needed that rate cut

Remember when the left was planning to pop corks over the rate cut? It was supposed to signal that the inflation beast had finally been beaten. Instead, it told a different story.

Of course when we start asking her about it, we’ll probably get another longwinded story about ‘growing up middle class’ — which is kind of a weird claim for a child whose parents are BOTH tenured professors.

Buried in the middle of Jerome Powell’s presser is the admission that this big change was not motivated by changes in the inflation numbers so much as ANOTHER number that has the fed looking nervous.

Specifically: employment numbers.

Bidenomics strikes again.

Here’s Biden’s spokes-muppet hard at work, gaslighting Americans about how amazing the economy is:

The job numbers aren’t good. Part of the reason was because they were being misreported as much higher than they really were. That’s ONE part of the problem he’s dealing with. What’s the other one?

People pouring in over the borders has allowed unemployment rates to rise?

What. A. Shocker.

If only someone has seen such a connection before people had already begun voting for 2024. If only someone had been raising issues like this one:

Administrations can fudge the basic numbers. We see this all the time. It’s a way that bureaucrats can make administrations they favor look more effective than they really are, or make administrations they disfavor look worse than they really are. It can change reporting rules, definitions, leave out important reporting information (think FBI crime numbers omitting data from large cities).
[…] An increase of 200k jobs in the context of a stable population is a very different story than an increase of 200k jobs in a country where we are blowing out our population numbers by adding hundreds of thousands of new people every month.ClashDaily

Oh, right. That was from my critique of the July jobs announcement that was later ‘revised downward’ by some 800,000 or so.

Yay for Bidenomics. Or something.

The root of the problem the Fed is trying to solve is a direct response to the failure of the Border Czar to stem the tide of people swarming across our border. Today we had a hearing that told us WHY she has been able to solve that problem.

Simply put: she doesn’t WANT to solve it, because she doesn’t think it’s a problem.

People flooding into America isn’t a ‘bug’ of the Kamala/Joe era.

It’s a ‘feature’.

John The Baptist: A Rude Awakening Precedes A Great Awakening.

This timely little tome chronicles the politically incorrect ministry of one of God’s most effective wildmen, John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Christ’s ministry.

The abrasive message of repentance John preached 2000 years ago is still confrontational and offensive today — but it is also life-changing.

In our putrid, worldly culture that has turned away from God, this book is a must-read for every Christian.

Available in paperback for those of you who like the feel of the pages in your hot, little hands, on Kindle to keep it right at your fingertips, and as an epic Audiobook.
