You know how the Apostles warned us there are some folks preaching in Christ’s name is more than a bubble off-level? It’s true of ordained preachers, too. Even the famous ones.
If nothing else, the core beliefs of the ancient creeds should be our starting point for required agreement of orthodox belief, shouldn’t it?
The pope never got that memo.

In other words… ‘all roads lead to God’.
That kind of a claim is gonna be a problem. NOT a small one either.
