AMERICA’S BIG BIRTHDAY: An Election Argument Everyone Seems To Be Missing

Whose vision of America do we want guiding the celebrations of America's 250th birthday

Whichever candidate is sworn into office this January is the President who will be making decisions about how America and her legacy is remembered.

This means we will either have our country’s celebrations led by someone who has embraced the principles of the ahistorical and ridiculously political 1619 Project, or by someone who embraces the principles of the 1776 Project.

We will either have a President who (despite being descended from an infamous Jamaican slaveholder) has embraced the idea of taxpayers with no historical connection to slavery paying reparations to Americans who have never been enslaved, OR we will have a President who oversaw an economy where people of every background and demographic saw record levels of employment and a meaningful rise in their wages.

We have a choice between a President whose knee-jerk reaction is to push DEI so hard that she makes campaign promises to targeted racial groups that her own team forced her to walk back after acknowledging they would be in violation of the Constitution, and one who wants to rip through the bureaucratic red tape that holds us all back so we’ve all got more room to breathe and succeed in our endeavors.

We’ve got a choice between a candidate who gives us empty platitudes about ‘defending’ people from faceless corporate bad guys, and we’ve got a candidate with vision for new innovations like Space Force, or fast-tracking StarLink to solve a post-hurricane communication logistics problem.

We’ve got a party that is ripping down statues, disparaging our history, and flooding the country with people who have no investment in our shared history. And another party whose leader floated the idea of a park with Memorials celebrating Great Americans from all walks of life.

Imagine yourself on July 4th, 2026. Who would you rather see giving THAT speech for America’s 250th birthday?
