Canada And Mexico Came Running When Trump Posted THIS

For a long time, Biden and Harris led a chorus of media flunkies (and other Democrats) in a claim that Trump is keeping them from closing the border.

Funny how, even before he became President, Trump has already got the attention of his counterparts across the border… with a single spicy media post.

Trump posted a very blunt statement about illegal border traffic and drug trade. There was one for China, and one for our neighbors to the North and South. Here is the latter:

Beginning on January 20th, a 25% Tariff will be slapped on anything coming across the borders until he sees a change in drugs (especially fentanyl) and illegal aliens.

NeverTrumpers, and other useful idiots — not understanding what he was doing — predicted the end of the world.

What they DIDN’T predict was the possibility of foreign cooperation making those threats moot. Because some people aren’t nearly as bright as they think they are.

It didn’t take long for Trump to get a response from both of his counterparts. He got phone calls from both within a few hours.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum is signaling that significant policy changes are on the table just days after a post-Election Day congratulatory call to the U.S. president-elect.

Trump reportedly shattered the “cordial” call by bringing up the most pressing issue on U.S.-Mexico relations: the lengthy border between our two countries and the unacceptable state of it.

According to Fox News Digital, Sheinbaum is considering the adjustments in direct response to the incoming Trump administration. — GP

They’re expected to take their own Southern border more seriously. Tariffs were not the only leverage they can bring to bear on Mexico. The threat of treating them with the same hostility they do ISIS and Al Quaeda is a blunt instrument and the possibility of exposing which Mexican politicians have cartel connections would be a more surgical one.

Suddenly, they’re cooperating. Go figure.
