FEMA FAIL: The Claim, The Lie, & The Consequences

Remember how this story was dismissed as a 'conspiracy theory'... until it was true?

Claims that FEMA specifically skipped homes with Trump signs were blown off as ‘hoaxes’… until they were proven true. Now the fallout of that story is spreading FAR beyond the official responsible.

It all began with claims that Republicans were being denied FEMA assistance after a hurricane. Predicatably, the left waved it away as a non-story.

Since Hurricane Helene decimated parts of western North Carolina last week, former President Donald Trump has seized on the tragedy to perpetuate lies about the federal response, sowing chaos and confusion as officials scramble to help those affected.

In recent days, Trump has repeatedly and falsely suggested that the federal government is purposely neglecting areas with Republican voters, that it is funneling emergency aid to migrants instead of disaster response, and that it’s giving hurricane victims just $750 in support. –Vox

NYTimes, naturally, pushed the same false narrative.

The usual schtick: lies, hoaxes, misinformation, disinformation. Yadda, yadda, yadda.

The only problem is… it was absolutely true. The Daily Wire even got an exclusive that involved internal communications proving the claim was absolutely true.

FEMA has actually fired someone over it:

The someone:

Florida is taking this VERY seriously:

Not only did they expose another egregious example of willful blindness on the part of leftwing media outlets denying the story to begin with, they exposed failures of journalistic integrity of an entirely different kind.

Here’s an example of the hack journo being called out…

And here’s her account now:

Oh, wait… it ‘no longer exists’. She’s locked it down.

How ‘courageous’ of her. She can talk smack until she gets caught being a clown and embarrassing herself and her employer.
