We Dodged A Demonic Political Bullet
Trump survived Butler PA, and America dodged a different kind of bullet on Nov 5
Take a good look at the people melting down on social media because their team didn’t win an election. That’s what it looks likes when your politics becomes your faith.
(And yes, it’s just as ridiculously clownish when our side does it.)
Whatever world we wake up to on the day after this or any election, God is still the Lord of the Universe. He’s got time itself in his pocket, and Prov 21 reminds us he ‘moves the hearts of kings’ wherever He wants.
God has promised to be faithful, whatever vicissitudes of life might come our way. But even Paul wanted Timothy to pray for civil leaders (1 Tim 2:1-4) that we might have a peaceful and quiet life.
The election has come and gone. It’s all over except the crying. As we realize that the levers of government will be taken out of the hands of incompetent cultural arsonsists and put back in the hands of Trump and the impressive coalition he has surrounded himself with, we do not make the left’s mistake of thinking the election is what saves us.
It’s not. The election is the reprieve given us by God… so that God’s people can get started on the REAL work that needs doing… work that will matter LONG after these four years fly by.
That’s what we’ll be talking about this week.

While you’re at it, here’s Doug’s latest book:
I Talk Back to the Devil is an action manual that sports thirty pure fire proclamations against the powers of darkness in three different categories covering, the wealth, the walk and the warfare of the Christian against Satan and his defeated ilk.
This NEW book will put a serrated edge on the Christian’s prayer life in these troubled times. This slim tome will embolden the believer to stop taking Satan’s crap.
