BONGINO: The Simple Reason DOGE Has Dems Losing Their Minds
This is uncharted territory for them.

The easiest way to understand it involves a simple Coke Machine analogy.
It all comes back to something psychology calls an ‘extinction burst’.
You know that surge of irrational frustration you get when you do all the right steps and the usual result doesn’t happen? We see it all the time in little ways, when your card won’t tap, or you turn the key and your car won’t start.
The example Bongino likes to use to explain this is the Coke machine. You put your dollar or whatever in the slot, day after day, and you get you can of Coke. Until one day, you put your money in and nothing comes out. Do you shrug realize you’ve been shafted out of a dollar and walk away? Do you argue with the machine? Start swearing at it? Threatening it? Shaking it?
If your answer is anything other than shrug and walk away, you understand exactly what Bongino is talking about with the Extinction Burst. Where this clip begins, he’s explaining the principal of Extinction Burst in the context of current news.
Dan Bongino with another great analogy:
The Democrats have put their dollar in the Coke machine and received no Coke in return. Now they are kicking and whining about it non-stop! 😆👏 pic.twitter.com/aCEiuNhpFs— MAGA Kitty (@SaveUSAKitty) February 11, 2025
Bongino applies the same principle to the way Dems are used to getting their way in politics… until Trump fired up a team of bulldozers to level their little fiefdoms.
They aren’t happy about it, not even a little bit. And NOW, when they pitch their little fits and attack Republicans for threatening their empire with personal attacks that always used to always make the Right duck and cover it no longer works.
