Zeldin Whacks EPA Museum… You’ll Never Believe The Taxpayer Price Per Visitor
Even with free admission, hardly anyone cared

In the Biden years, they had money to burn on show-y nothings like a museum for the EPA. Naturally, it was as politicized as everything else in his administration.
The free admission museum is just a few blocks from the White House, built for ‘just’ $4 million as a celebration and tribute of — what else — Environmental Justice and Climate Change. There’s a four-year gap in history during the Trump years.
What would the upkeep costs of a museum the size of a Starbucks cost to maintain? We’re looking at $600k a year. We’ve got security, cleaning, maintenance, and storage costs to consider.
Lee Zeldin took time to tell us in person that this absolute waste of taxpayer money — where not even a place as partisan left as DC can scrape up visitors to wander thorugh for free — was an absolute money-pit of government waste.
He crunched the numbers: dividing the upkeep between the 1909 external visitors to the museum, it costs you, the taxpayer $315 a head for each and every visitor.
