PAYBACK: Dems Are About To Regret Precedents Set By J6 Congressional Subpoenas

When setting a political precedent, make sure it's one you can trust your rivals with

While Oversight digs into the question of who was REALLY running Biden’s White House, the walls are closing in on Doctor Jill’s top aide.

Any of the excuses, deflections and dodges that might have shielded Anthony Bernal from having to answer to Congressional oversight were shredded by the heavy-handed precedents set under the J6 committee.

After ignoring an invitation to show up to talk to Congress, Bernal is now getting a formal subpoena to appear whether he wants to or not. And since Democrats were more than happy to throw Republicans in prison for refusing the subpoena, the precedent has been set for the same rules to apply to them.

Bernal may not be a familiar name to most people. But David Hogg sure knows it. Remember when the Project Veritas hidden camera got him talking shop about insider Democrat politics? As the Vice President of the DNC, you’d think he might know a thing or two about a thing or two.

He was caught on tape suggesting that the REAL ‘power behind the throne’ when Biden was little more than a dollar store manequin trotted out for special functions was Anthony Bernal.

The Oversight Committee explained it this way in a tweet:

🚨 BREAKING: Jill Biden’s longtime aide Anthony Bernal is DEFYING Congress and REFUSING to testify tomorrow about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline after the White House waived his executive privilege.

He’s running scared. The cover-up is collapsing. We will subpoena him immediately.

Chairman Comer’s statement:

“Now that the White House has waived executive privilege, it’s abundantly clear that Anthony Bernal – Jill Biden’s so-called ‘work husband’ – never intended to be transparent about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline and the ensuing cover-up. With no privilege left to hide behind, Mr. Bernal is now running scared, desperate to bury the truth. The American people deserve answers and accountability, and the Oversight Committee will not tolerate this obstruction. I will promptly issue a subpoena to compel Anthony Bernal’s testimony before the Committee.

“Just yesterday, we heard from our first witness, Neera Tanden, the former Staff Secretary who controlled the Biden autopen. Ms. Tanden testified that she had minimal interaction with President Biden, despite wielding tremendous authority. She explained that to obtain approval for autopen signatures, she would send decision memos to members of the President’s inner circle and had no visibility of what occurred between sending the memo and receiving it back with approval. Her testimony raises serious questions about who was really calling the shots in the Biden White House amid the President’s obvious decline. We will continue to pursue the truth for the American people.”

It’s weird how his willingness to testify changed once the White House waived its Executive Privilege, isn’t it?

What, exactly, has he been hiding?
