JK Rowling Gets Last Laugh Over Activist Critic Now Doing Hard Time For Harming Minors

So much moral superiority... so little integrity to back up the outrage

If you’re going to become a flag-bearer of some cause you care about, it’s important to remember how your scandals can do more harm than good.

Are you picking fights with a world-famous author because her gay-friendly stance fell short of affirming dudes in dresses and therefore wasn’t ‘progressive enough’?

Then you’d better be sure you haven’t got any skeletons in your closet. Or children, for that matter.

That goes double if you are co-founder of a local ‘Pride’ organization.

A man has been jailed for 24 years for raping an “extremely vulnerable” 12-year-old boy after the pair met on a dating app.

Stephen Ireland, 41, who co-founded Pride in Surrey in 2018, raped the child at the flat he shared with his then-partner and co-defendant David Sutton, 27, in Addlestone on 19 April 2024 after messaging on Grindr.

Ireland was also sentenced to a further six years on extended licence, while Sutton was jailed for four-and-a-half years for making indecent photographs of children and possession of an extreme pornographic image.
[…] The boy – referred to in court as Child A – who had been reported missing at the time, told police they had sex in the flat, smoked a bong which was later found to have contained methamphetamine, and that pornography was played on a laptop.

The court heard the boy had initially told Ireland he was aged 17 – but when he later claimed to be aged 13, Ireland replied: “OK – we just have to keep it a secret.” — BBC

Meth, in the bong huh? Was this guy taking notes from Ed Buck? A conviction like this one heck of a way to close out Pride Month.

After being targeted and harrassed by Stephen Ireland, Rowling gets the last laugh, AND the last word:

If this sicko found it ‘naughty’ and ‘kinky’ to learn that his dalliance was with a 13yo rather than a 17yo, just imagine what might be waiting for him over the next 3 decades in general population.
