DOJ Deep-Stater Goes From ‘Resistance’ To Unemployed Felon In A Single Stupid Moment

This guy had an opportunity to walk away and eat his food. Instead, he lost his cool, his job, his freedom … and even his supper.

The funniest part of this whole silly episode was that this is the SECOND time an unhinged leftist Trump hater has faced criminal charges in a meltdown that featured a sub sandwich — no, we don’t know which store he got it from.

This clown obviously didn’t get the memo when Trump made it clear that the old leniency toward attacks on law enforcement is long gone. You throw hands — or anything else — at law enforcement now, and you’re going to need a good lawyer.

Of course, he’ll probably be stuck with a pro bono lawyer, because his stupidity just cost him his job at — of all places — the DOJ, which, conveniently, announced both his charges and his discharge from federal employment in the same press release, with the funny parts highlighted for the benefit of our readers.

Sean Charles Dunn, 37, was charged in a criminal complaint yesterday in U.S. District Court in connection with an alleged assault on a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer that included shouted verbal insults and a thrown wrapped sandwich, announced U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.

Dunn, who had worked at the Department of Justice, was fired today by Attorney General Pam Bondi. He is charged with one felony count of assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers and employees of the United States. Dunn had his first appearance today before federal Magistrate Judge G. Michael Harvey and was released on his own recognizance.

About 11:06 p.m., Dunn forcefully threw a sub-style sandwich at the CPB officer, striking him in the chest. An Instagram video recorded by an observer captured the incident.

Dunn attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended. While being processed at Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District, Dunn told an officer, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.”

This case is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police Department. It is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.

If you MUST immolate your life like that, the least you can do is execute that sad plan with some kind of style.

Nope.

Not Dunn. He decided to go out with all the grace and class of an 8th grader melting down because her first crush likes her sworn rival better.

So, it turns out that the man who assaulted ICE Officers with a Subway sandwich, is a DOJ Employee. He has not only been charged with felony assault on an officer, but he has been terminated from his job.
