OKLAHOMA: If You Want To Teach In This Red State… You’d Better Love America

Creepy people wanting to poison the minds of their youth need not apply

It’s only natural that the many advantages of Red States would bring flocks of people from Blue States looking to make good on those benefits, but…

If you’re coming to a red state with the intention of training up a next generation of kids, it’s important that such influential people don’t just have the credentials to do so, but that they will be coming to build up, rather than tear down, the state in which they hope to teach.

In a country with so many pockets of academia where ideology is more prized than ability or even skills, and in which literacy and numeracy in so many public schools is practically a museum piece, the vetting of any new teachers becomes that much more important.

You will be expected to have a functional grasp of little things like the fundamental difference between boys and girls, or of American exceptionalism, or the basics of the Constitution.

You know, the things taht actually built this country, rather than the latest brain fart to come out of some pencil-necked academic’s social experiment fever dream.
