Rubio Runs Sunday Show Gauntlet While Making Hostile Hosts Look Like Amateur Hour

Rubio has been on an absolute TEAR lately, and his latest victims televised their defeats.

Let’s start with his media hits on the hostile networks.

They’re still looking for their pound of flesh from the Trump administration. They almost seem eager to see the Peace Talks fail… or at minimum, to be characterized as a failure in the sprit of ‘get Trump’.

Margaret Brennan — who may or may not still be stinging from the beat-down JD Vance gave her and the ‘I really don’t care Margaret’ memes, made no pretense at being interested in updated in objective facts.

She tried to slip in a ‘rolled out the red carpet for Putin’ dig, as if there is anything to be gained by entering a supposedly good-faith peace negotiation by snubbing the visiting leader from whom we are trying to gain concessions — including the end of military action — without sending our own troops into the meat grinder.

And that was AFTER claiming that NATO leaders were there as moral support for Zelensky to keep them from caving to Trump (implied: and Putin) bullying Ukraine into taking concessions.

Rubio caught her in the lie and then corrected the record.

Here he was giving ABC a public spanking where the host focussed on the ‘messaging’ of the red carpet and not the stealth bomber fly-over.

Such wonderfully objective journalism-ing on the networks’ part. Why would anyone possibly assume it’s all fake news?

And here he is talking about the situation with someone who actually WANTS answers to questions

With Maria Bartiromo’s show on FoxNews, he was given more of an opportunity to explain the flawed logic in the ongoing narratives that still haven’t given up their ‘russian collusion’ fantasy… explaining not only the obvious-to-everyone-but-partisans reality that any negotiation requires both sides giving up and getting. Both parties in a negotiation must come to a common ground where the thing that is gained by each party must be of sufficient worth that the price tag that comes worth it is one they are willing to pay.

As for adding more punitive sanctions? Rubio is pretty pragmatic about that point too. It might come to that… but if it does, peace talks are over and the meat grinder of war will grind on, chewing its way through a generation of fighting-age men, and all the other victims that come with it.

And that’s just what he’s been doing on this one topic. He’s been crushing so many others, too.
