WATCH: Trump Has Big Meeting With Zelenskyy And NATO — What Comes Next?

Blessed be the peace makers

We are finally talking about Trump setting up a potential face-to-face between Zelenskyy and Putin. And we have some early signs of what could blossom into some VERY good news.

The way we heard the media reporting on how Trump was advancing the peace process between Putin and Zelenskyy, it would be easy to believe that they were taking bets against any peace process going forward.

Trump has come to realized just how far apart the parties have been, and how difficult it would be to thread any needle that looks like peace. That notwithstanding, he had been using a wide range of tools to pressure both sides to get beyond their adamant refusal to negotiate and sit down at a table, looking to save some lives.

We are now hearing that we could have a meeting within two weeks.

NATO’s General Secretary says that Trump is the only guy with the level of credibility to both leaders who could have drawn the respective heads of state into taking a real shot at a peace negotiation.

Trump updated us all on the progress of the day by way of his TruthSocial account:

I had a very good meeting with distinguished guests, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, of Ukraine, President Emmanuel Macron, of France, President Alexander Stubb, of Finland, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, of Italy, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, of the United Kingdom, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Friedrich Merz, President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, in the White House, which ended in a further meeting in the Oval Office. During the meeting we discussed Security Guarantees for Ukraine, which Guarantees would be provided by the various European Countries, with a coordination with the United States of America. Everyone is very happy about the possibility of PEACE for Russia/Ukraine. At the conclusion of the meetings, I called President Putin, and began the arrangements for a meeting, at a location to be determined, between President Putin and President Zelenskyy. After that meeting takes place, we will have a Trilat, which would be the two Presidents, plus myself. Again, this was a very good, early step for a War that has been going on for almost four years. Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, are coordinating with Russia and Ukraine. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

There are still a lot of steps between here and a signed deal. May ways for old grievances and personalities to get in the way of a path forward. But for the first time in 3 years, we’re opening a dialogue between two nations that have been killing each other by the hundreds of thousands.

Any first step in the right direction is news worth celebrating… better still if they’re able to pull it together.
