SICK: Journo Swoons Over Shooter’s Texts Claiming To Have Murdered Charlie Out Of ‘Love’

It’s bad enough that the criminally insane routinely attract a following among weak and impressionable minds, but for a ‘professional’ to wax poetic about the ‘romantic’ texts sent while Kirk’s body was still warm? Unreal.

Can you imagine sympathetic reporting of John Wilkes Booth?

On second thought, these days, it wouldn’t be so difficult to imagine this crowd doing exactly that. He WAS a Republican, after all. And it unfolded on the same day that a crowd of supporters ‘fan-girled’ as a Judge decided what charges could be pursued in the trial of Luigi Mangione.

It was SUPPOSED to be nothing more than a routine reporting of facts. Here are the list of charges being brought against Tyler Robinson. Instead it became an attempt to humanize the guy not only denied Charlie Kirk’s innate humanity, but who did so thoroughly that he saw fit to end the man’s life.

Here is ABC’s Matt Gutman, calling the texts between Tyler Robinson and his roommate/boyfriend ‘intimate’ and ‘touching’.

“I don’t know if we have seen an alleged murder with such specific text messages about the alleged murder weapon, where it was hidden, how it was placed, what was on it, but also it was very touching in a way that I think many of us didn’t expect,” Gutman declared.

But, wait, there was more: “A very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect’s roommate and the suspect himself, with him repeatedly calling his roommate, who is transitioning, calling him ‘my love’ and ‘I want to protect you, my love.’”

If it ended there, it would bad enough, the kind of speech that sounds like it would fit right in with a conversation where the Joker is explaining to Batman that his preference for a knife is because ‘guns are too quick’, and they don’t let him savor all the little emotions.

He’s a lamestream journo… of course, he doubled down.

With all the official chatter about ‘turning down the temperature’, ABC is taking exactly the wrong approach.

The correct response is to treat this with the same level of contempt as the would-be Reagan assassin John Hinkley Junior claiming to have done it for Jodie Foster, not to elevate it to a sincere and loving defense of an innocent beloved from a real threat that is likely to come pounding down their door.

There has been a moral inversion of normalizing violence (By any means necessary, or the 2020 firey but mostly peaceful ‘Summer of Love) while at the same time actively ‘othering’ and dehumanizing regular citizens in the scope of normal society. Look at how heterosexual men are routinely belittled in news stories, how the NYT made an editorial decision to filter every news story through the filter of ‘race’, how Republicans are routinely called a ‘threat to democracy’, and how Charlie Kirk is at least the SECOND person on the SPLC ‘hate’ list to have been singled out by a gunman with murder on his mind.

What the hard-left media has yet to realize about this steady drumbeat of denunciating half of America is that the dehumanizing and disgust attachments that are precursors that remove the natural moral obstacles to killing… whether on the scale of genocide (Nazis calling Jews names that evoke revulsion and disgust like ‘rats, lice and cockroaches’)
