HEY KIMMEL CRYBABIES: Where’s Your 1A ‘Concern’ For The Journo Portland Just Arrested?
Defending Antifa at the expense of real journalists to 'own' ICE is very on-brand for the left
After squealing like stuck pigs for more than a week over the ‘infringement’ on Kimmel’s short-lived cancellation, the left has nothing to say about journalists being attacked (and arrested!) in Portland.
Is it because they all understand that Antifa are the de facto Brownshirts, or militant militia of the left’s extreme political wing? That they are responsible for attack and intimidation tactics that the rest may view with respect and appreciation, but dare not openly support because of the political blowback they’d get from the center?
That’s the speculation. But we’ve yet to hear a better one for why Antifa, despite legions of mugshot where their participants cross state lines to agitate and stir up violence in the name of favored causes, we patiently await any better theory.
The latest data points to add to our inventory of clues involve not one, but two journalists who have been covering the agitation action in Portland. First, we have assualts against Katie Daviscourt. She was the same journalist whose coverage of the first Antifa arrests since Trump has named them a domestic terrorist organization. She was attacked with a pipe. So she flagged down a cop, reported the crime, identified her attacker, and whaddaya know? Just like that — nothing further happened. The assailant walked free, for ‘some reason’.

Of course, he was acting in his professional capacity as a reporter, but just as they have with others in the past (Angy Ngo, for instance) he has been assaulted by the people whose lawless actions against ICE he was reporting on. And the local police arrested NICK, but not his assailant, who had knocked him down and broken his equipment before he attempted to defend himself.

Yeah. That’s not going to happen.
They like to stretch 1A rights and shoehorn them topics they care about, and ignore the actual violations when it implicates the wrong people as the violators of those rights. And wouldn’t ya know it, the ones violating those right are once again… aggrieved leftists with a mean streak.
