YO DEMS: Biden’s Cancer Announcement Shows Sharp Difference Between Right And Left
Compare our reaction to this against their reaction to Charlie Kirk or DJT

Think of the ‘activists’ who crashed Charlie Kirk memorials so that they could dance on his grave, or how Kamala’s Veep choice openly dreamed of ‘news’ announcing the death of the President who beat him… then compare that to the right’s reaction to Biden’s scary health update.
It’s hardly a partisan position to say Cancer sucks. Everyone knows somebody whose life was made miserable, or worse, cut short because of it. Young or old, rich or poor, native born, or recent immigrant, it doesn’t matter. Nobody is exempt from the reach of cancer.
And the news is, that Joe Biden’s cancer has progressed to the point that he has to take aggressive action to fight it. He’s no longer a young man, and this fight will not be an easy one, as he’s had any number of other health struggles on top of this one.
We wish him all the best in his fight, and that he might have an opportunity to enjoy time with the youngest of his grand children and great grandchildren.
Some of us are reconciled to the fact that Robert Hur is probably right about Joe’s mental state being degraded to the point that he can no longer understand what he did, let alone answer for it… in this life at least. We shall leave further judgments beyond that to a Higher Court than any whose machinations we mere mortals have the capacity to report upon.
The objections to such a conciliatory statement as this are as obvious as they they are facile.
Easy for you to say, you only have to be nice to Joe Biden, Mr. Soul of The Nation himself. Our opponents are Nat-zees and Moral Monsters of the First Order.
It’s easy for the other side to believe such things when they only hear the ceaseless drumbeat of partisan accusations from people who literally wrote a Media Matters War Plan white paper on how to smear someone (including drip-drip-drip accusations designed to make him appear criminally culpable) and then proceeded to implement that plan of defamation and impeachment step by step. (The events and even the players will include familiar names.)
Biden was corrupt. Full stop. Even the CIA knew it, and we’re just learning about how they covered for him. The Deep State worked hard to keep damning information — including more than 100 Banking records that show evidence of deceptive monetary practices that implicated Biden’s family — out of the reach of conservatives.
He abused his power gladly. Where Obama blew through Constitutional limits on his authority with a little hesitation (announcing he couldn’t unilaterally rewrite immigration law before doing exactly that), Biden even flaunted the Supreme Court in flexing powers that were not his to use, like the eviction moritorium.
He exploited the crisis of COVID to reward his friends (like teachers’ unions and pharma), while throwing faithful soldiers out of the military. He took states to court for trying to ENFORCE existing border law and looked the other way as tens of thousands (more?) of children fell into an untrackable system because it was expedient to ignore that problem so as to accomplish the immigration surge he or his advisors so desperately wanted.
He criminalized religious belief, and waved away domestic terrorists who firebombed pro-life clinics. He politicized every branch of government, wedging race, gender and politics into decisions and issues that were expressly forbidden by the constitution.
Lives and livelihoods were destroyed by his COVID mandates. He normalized the sort of dehumanizing rhetoric that causes leftwing voters to justify the various attempts on conservative speakers’ lives.
Even if we laid aside all we know of him in his time in office, his own daughter’s now-authenticated diary said some unspeakable things about his character, things which Biden senate staffer Tara Reade would corroborate.
He misused his White House to corroborate in criminal investigations against his opponents, with the courts throwing out many of those he aggressively prosecuted as a gross overreach of his powers… at a time when it was obvious to all that his own mental powers were greatly diminished. He finished his presidency in much the same way that President Wilson did, except we’re not entirely sure who was feeding policy into the autopen.
And yet, so ‘committed’ was he to ‘saving democracy’ from one Donald J Trump, that his party broke its own rules to squeeze out any primary opponent… only to panic after the failed debate and parachute Kamala into that spot without even pretending to care about the preferences of the average voter — a decision that pushed Kennedy to the other team and probably brought many moderates with him.
Joe left the world, in many ways, worse than how he found it, he broke his oaths of office more often than his dogs bit the staff and he was reportedly, on a personal level, generally a vile and angry man. Just ask the female Secret Service members who were obligated to watch him swim laps in the pool… naked.
Dems can lay whatever charges they want against Trump to justify their contempt and ill-will. But it’s hardly a one-off. This malicious attitude is a rot that has spread to the roots of the entire party. Remember that Dem from Virginia who fantasized about seeing an infant and a pre-schooler die in their mothers’ arms because the kids are ‘little fascists’? This was no mere hypothetical. He had met that mother, and those children. When the Dem candidate for Governor was asked to say whether she renounced anyone who would harbor such feelings, she responded by NOT responding at all.
It was bad enough that Winsome-Sears is using it as a campaign ad.
Brutal ad that drives home how terrible Abigail Spanberger's debate strategy was pic.twitter.com/HQfgMSxrc0

We’re happy to see our opponents pay for their malfeasance — if it holds up in court. Our laughter will echo over hill and dale if Letitia is found guilty of crimes she was trying to shoehorn Trump into, for example. But that’s up to a jury to decide.
But to wish death on someone whose only difference with you is a political disagreement? That’s grim by any estimation. And a pretty clear sign that you’ve abandoned your own humanity in the process.
We would prefer that he get well, and go quietly away to some place where he can do no further damage to the politics of the day. Maybe somewhere that the ice cream keeps flowing and the beach chairs are light enough that even he can move them.
