Vivek Pulls No Punches On What’s Gotta Change After Yesterday’s Election Results
Last year's message won't win next year's elections. But this might
For anyone hoping that recent events might tweak the conscience so that questions of ‘decency’ might win out against the old propaganda we’ve been spoon-fed by polticians and pundits for years, guess again.
The cynical tactics of the professional political class, the unsubstantiated lies that Trump is somehow a ‘authoritarian’, and that Dems are a magical defense against totalitarianism, or the fact that enforcing laws that Dems have steadfastly ignored for years because it would be politically expedient to do so is the mark of a ‘king’?
All of that, and the cynical Schumer Shutdown should have been laughed out of the voting booth, along with the obvious cynicism of the left ‘forgetting’ every mantra of encouraging the public in supporting the candidates like Kamala (a nonwhite woman) so that he could prop up a lily-white CIA agent with dubious record who was openly deriding a candidate who was poised to become the first black female governor of ANY state in the union.
The question haunting every GOP politician as we gear up for midterm elections a year from now is (or should be) what changes do we need to make between now and next year? How do we keep from getting blown out in the mid-terms?

He points to two key issues the GOP needs to focus on:
1) Affordability. Make the American dream affordable. Bring down the costs of electricity, groceries, health care, and housing… and let people know what steps are being taken to make that happen.
2) Cut out identity politics. That’s the woke left’s game, not ours. We don’t care about the content of your skin or your religion. We care about the content of your character. That’s who we are.
That is a pretty good start right there.
