How many Christians would even DARE to pray the prayer this judge prayed?
Long before Bear Bailey ever knew what judges would be evaluating his ‘Star Search’ appearance, he already knew the song he would be singing.
That’s important, because the song he ended up singing was performed in front of the guy who wrote it.
Bear Bailey stood on that stage and belted out his version of ‘Hard Fought Hallelujah’ by Jelly Roll. That clip can be seen here.
The performance was great. But that’s not the best part. Not even close.
The best part was the conversation that followed the performance.

He prayed to God, ‘give me an opportunity to talk about YOU’.
Jelly Roll did a great job for dropping an impromptu speech, just like the gospel promised, ‘in that hour’ the Holy Spirit would give us the words we need. But he was still a little emotionally caught up when he was talking in the clip above. He got a chance to expand on his thoughts in an interview AFTER the show, too.
It raises the question — are there ‘everyday opportunities’ staring the rest of us square in the eye that we just aren’t seeing, or if we are, we’re too nervous to act on it?
