The battle line is drawn. The war is raging. Events require choosing sides. Chaos is inevitable so long as one side is outgunned and the other is insane. How did we get here?
In view of near-term history, this civil war was sponsored by Leftist forces many years ago. The moment they convinced patriots to set aside the Constitution was the moment our Republic began to unravel. Without consensus regarding the rule of law, this experiment in liberty cannot long endure, and this is precisely what the Left desires, the destruction of our Republic, and the installation of dictatorial collectivism, i.e., Marxist communism.
If you value your freedom, good citizenship requires you to rightly identify the enemy, resist him, and peacefully prevail wherever possible.
There are now well-established global networks of communists and jihadists working together to eradicate the American Republic. Those voices are ringing throughout the streets of Minneapolis this morning. Those voices urging violence grunt from the throats of Democrats eager to see more blood, for with every drop they are closer to protecting millions of illegals, promising to dominate politics forever.
If we fail to support and defend legitimate law enforcement and confront the Left on every policy issue, we will forfeit our liberty, financing the march of evil. We will effectively hire the strong man to destroy us. Shame on Republicans with weak knees.
What to do?
Speak up for what is good, lawful, productive and right. Organize to get out the vote in the midterms. Organize for the elections following. Write and call legislators. Pray for the Supreme Court. Ask God to protect everyone working in the executive branch.
If we neglect the basic duties of citizenship we will help our enemies destroy us, consigning our children to 1,000 years of darkness.
Instead, let us build a new network of patriots who value their neighbors’ freedom as much as they value their own.
