Doug and Rich have been going through a list of characteristics prerequisite to success in life. If anyone should be primed to live this out, it OUGHT to be Bible-believing Christians.

But how well do we really walk the talk? More importantly, are we passing these traits and values to the kids we’re bringing into the world.

If we do, we’re setting them up for maximum success in whatever they seek to accomplish. But if not…?

That’s a whole other story.

The funny thing about this list is it focuses on all the things that finger-wagging self-righteous stuffed shirts tend to overlook in their own lives while picking apart everyone else’s. Hopefully our readers aren’t among them.

But, as we said in an earlier episode, even if they ARE among them, that’s actually good news. Because if something in your life sucks, it’s easy to blame other people or circumstances.

But the dirty little secret the Enemy doesn’t want you to figure out is that finding out its your own fault is empowering — because it means you can change it and turn that weakness into a strength.

Will it be easy? Probably not. But it is doable.

Just like some of the character traits on this list that — if you don’t have them already — you’ll want to integrate into your life and that of your young squabs as soon as you can.
