Trump To Make History In Upcoming SCOTUS Appearance

To say he’s an ‘unconventional’ President is an understatement. “That’s not the way things are done” has never been a sufficient reason NOT to do something different. And now, Trump is making history by making a personal appearance at the #1 First Street.

In a year where lower courts have thown every legal trick at the book at Trump’s various policies, hoping activist judges like Bosberg would help thwart Trump from executing the policies that gave him an unmistakable mandate to govern, time and again the activist lower courts have had their rulings reversed at the appeals level or higher.

Now, Trump is making history as the first POTUS in history to sit in attendance as oral arguments are brought before the court.

President Donald Trump plans to sit in on Wednesday’s Supreme Court hearing on birthright citizenship, making him the first sitting president to attend oral arguments at the nation’s highest court.

The Republican president’s official schedule, sent out by the White House, included a stop at the Supreme Court, where justices will hear Trump’s appeal of a lower court ruling that struck down his executive order limiting birthright citizenship.

The order, which Trump signed on the first day of his second term, declared that children born to parents who are in the United States illegally or temporarily are not American citizens. It’s an about-face from the long-standing view that the Constitution’s 14th Amendment and federal law since 1940 confer citizenship to everyone born on American soil, with narrow exceptions. — AP

As far as ‘hills to die on’ go, there are plenty of people who might wonder why THIS is the issue so important to Trump that he’s setting such an unexpected precedent.  He thought about showing up for the tariffs question, but sat it out. Other big questions have come and gone.

Why is he making a decision that will necessarily throw a spotlight on birthright citizenship?

He’s right about the Chinese surrogate exploitation of US citizenship, which is a foot in the door for the CCP, whose overall goal of subverting America is an open secret.
