We’re taking a brief detour from the hike through the Book of Acts to look at a some rubber-meets-the-road aspects of stepping into the Christian life.
By now, our readers know it’s not about skinny jeans and smoke machines. But there are so many parts of the kind of life we ARE called to do as Christians that get left out the conversation in the broader culture. And if we don’t close those gaps, the enemy of our souls will keep picking off the most vulnerable in our midst.
Since we don’t WANT it to be easy-peasy for El Diablo to pick off the most vulnerable in our midst, it will take some active steps on our part to close ranks and keep him from picking us off. Right?
There are things that means, and things it does NOT mean. Once we know the difference, we’ll be ‘strengthening the arms that hang down’ and the ‘weak knees’ so that the work and walk we’ve all been called to can continue without interruption.
