BREAKING: Biden’s Accuser Demands That He Release Senate Records For ‘Transparency’–Here’s The 411

Uh-oh, Joe! It looks like this “credible” accusation of sexual assault is not going away anytime soon.

Tara Reade, the woman that has accused Joe Biden of sexual assault in 1993, is now demanding transparency from the former Vice President and presumptive Democratic nominee.

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Caller, Reade has requested that all of his Senate records be released. Biden was a Senator for the state of Delaware from 1973-2009.

Reade alleges that in 1993, then-Senator Biden pushed her against a wall, kissed her, reached under her skirt and penetrated her with his fingers without her consent.

She then says that she tried to make a complaint, but was ignored, bullied, and then shoved out of her job.

Biden’s Senate records would have a record of the complaint if one had been filed.

“Joe Biden, I want you to release all the personnel records from 1973 to 2009 and be transparent about your office practices,” Reade told the DCNF. “I would like to hold you accountable for what happened to me, to how your staff protected you and enabled you, bullied me multiple times into silence.”

“You ended my career,” she told Biden. “You ended my job after you assaulted me. You claim to be the champion of women’s rights, but your public persona does not match your personal actions.”

She added: “I want this brought to light and I want you to admit it in public. I want a public apology for calling me a Russian agent and having other people try to smear my character in order to cover your crimes.”

Over the last few days, a video clip was found of a woman calling Larry King Live in August 1993 asking what recourse other than the press does a staffer on the Hill have when a complaint about a “prominent Senator” has been ignored. According to Reade, the woman’s voice on the phone is that of her mother. Reade has recently had some witnesses come forward backing up her claim that she spoke to them after the incident nearly 30 years ago.

Reade has said that she made harassment complaints to three Biden staffers, none of whom reportedly took action, and that she filed a written complaint with a “Senate personnel office” in 1993, according to The New York Times. Reade told the DCNF that she does not have a copy of this complaint, though she has attempted to track it down.

Biden’s former staffers don’t recall any complaint. Marianne Baker who was Biden’s Senate office manager at the time said, “These clearly false allegations are in complete contradiction to both the inner workings of our Senate office and to the man I know and worked so closely with for almost two decades.”

Reade doesn’t have a copy of the complaint that she says she filed back in 1993 but believes that a copy would be in Biden’s senate records.

That complaint would likely be held in Biden’s Senate records, which are housed by the University of Delaware Library — Senate records that cover a wide swath of Biden’s political career but are being kept secret until Biden “retires from public life.” Reade said she believes her complaint is included in these records, she told the DCNF.

Beginning in 2011 and onward, according to The Washington Post, the University of Delaware had said it would keep the papers sealed “for two years after Biden retires from public office.”

The University of Delaware changed that standard shortly before Biden made his announcement that he was running for office in April 2019. Instead of waiting for “two years after Biden retires from public office” it is now “two years after Biden retires from public life” or after December 31, 2019. Of course, the university has not defined what “public life” means, so these records could be sealed for a long, long time.

Reade asking for the records to be released early lends a little more credibility to her “credible” accusation against Biden.

It’s going to get more and more difficult for the Media(D) to try to sweep away the story or for Biden to ignore it.
