Trump Vs. Biden: How They Each Responded To Laken Riley’s Murder Says It All

It's really a question of priorites.

Every so often an issue comes along that really reveals what someone’s true priorities are — and for Trump vs. Biden, the difference couldn’t be any more stark.

The SOTU came an an inconvenient time for Joe Biden. A young nursing student in Georgia had been murdered, and the person charged with the crime came across the border he had flung open. He was one of the half-million or so Venezuelans that have been welcomed in by the Biden administration.

The brother of the accused was arrested with bogus identity documents, and is believed to have associations with a dangerous Venezuelan gang that just happens to be rapidly on the ascendancy in America right now… for some reason.

Joe had avoided any official statements about the murder, but the chorus of ‘say her name’ kept getting louder as the SOTU drew near. Marjorie Taylor Green heckled him with ‘say her name’, and Joe Biden tried to defuse the situation by getting ahead of it. But he’s not good at improvising.

Joe got Laken’s name wrong, despite the fact that he was holding up a pin on which her name was written, and then he angered his own base by saying the unsayable — that her accused killer was an illegal alien.

That was bad enough, sure. But the real contrast comes in what happened next.

Joe Biden went on TV and spent his efforts in apologizing for having disparaged the accused murderer as ‘an illegal’.

Donald Trump, is another story entirely.

Not only does he NOT run away from the (factually accurate) language of describing someone who broke the law in order to enter the country as an ‘illegal alien’, he says it in several different ways just to be sure, and reminds the crowd that his own policies would NOT have thrown open the doors to several million people who just showed up and started living here.

But Trump went further than just accurately describing the accused murderer as an ‘illegal’. Much further.

Take a good look at that picture, and the Joe Biden apology. Reflect on which of these two men the media routinely portrays as a heartless monster and which of them it portrays as a kindly old gentleman.

Now ask yourself: should anyone believe them?
