‘Tolerant’ Europe Sends Cops To Shut Down Conservative Nigel Farage Event
Because the biggest problem Brussels has on its radar is... a conservative politician from the UK
Jihadis can flood the streets chanting supremacist slogans and crime can flood the steets, but try to run a conservative conference and the cops WILL shut you down.
Here’s what the AP said about Brussels a little more than a month ago:
Cocaine and crack keep flowing. Shootings among rival gangs rage close to the very heart of Brussels. Police seize drugs and arrest traffickers almost daily. But dealers keep coming back, and the population is fed up.
As record amounts of cocaine are being seized in Europe, drug-related violent crime is becoming increasingly visible in the European Union’s capital city.
“We’re up against mafia-like organizations,” said Jean Spinette, mayor of the Saint-Gilles district, where one man was killed early Wednesday in the culmination of several days of fighting among drug dealers. — AP
With problems in Brussels so bad, what problems are the cops there prioritizing? They are saving the world from conservative speakers.
Nigel Farage expects this will backfire on them… badly.

Brussels is the governmental seat of the European Union. Nigel Farage is the politician who helped turn public opinion against the European Union… and led the charge for Brexit. The powers that be in Brussels really don’t like him.

On Tuesday, he was on stage at the NatCon Conference when police showed up to shut things down.
Police arrived at the scene while the honorary president of Reform UK was on stage addressing the event, giving attendees just 15 minutes to leave.
Mr Farage can be seen going over to the side of the stage, where a man tells him “the police are coming”.
He then returns to the centre of the stage and says: “We’ve got some roving mics, I understand the police are very keen to close this down, so if they are going to close it down, they can close it down with me on stage.” — TheIndependent
Farage's spokesman tells Guido: “The Brussels police are outside trying to shut down a peaceful political event, as decreed by the local Mayor, while Nigel is still standing on the stage. Shellenberger, who is no conservative but strongly supports free speech blasted this decision in a tweet:
This is outrageous totalitarianism and must be condemned by all Western political leaders, no matter where you sit on the political spectrum.

“The police document,” reports The Telegraph, “suggested speeches by speakers including Nigel Farage and Suella Braverman could lead to public disorder or display racist and homophobic views.”
Apparently, the police have, for now, allowed the conference to go on.
But they have blocked any new people from entering.
A police presence like that for a right-of-center politician while criminal cartels run wild in the neighborhood?
Yeah, that sounds familiar.
