The Potato Is Big Mad That Citizen Journalists Are Doing The Job Journos Refuse To Do

Mr. Unreliable Sources is whining again

Brian Stelter, who once famously missed a story deadline because he had to have a ‘good cry’, and works for a news network that has thoroughly immolated its once-solid credibility has opinions on whether independents are ‘legitimate’ journalists.

Yeah, Brian. It’s a real mystery. Should the 20-something YouTuber who teamed up with a Minnesota Local and blew the lid off of a hiding-in-plain-sight scandal of grift totalling what, 10 BILLION dollars?

Or the tech-savvy folks who have been quietly keeping tabs on anarchist/revolutionary groups who are more than happy to employ violent means to achieve political ends — detailing that none of the anti-ICE action was in any way ‘organic’, but that it was well-funded and coordinated by people with close ties to Tim Walz’s own office?

How dare they!

But Higby got the last laugh.

And now (*clutches pearls*) the FBI director is taking the news that independent journos revealed and opening an investigation into it!

Brian makes a baseless assertion that the Signal Chats (they were legion) show no evidence of criminal collusion. If that’s true, his favourite politicians should have nothing to fear. Including a couple of Dems listed as admins on at least one subversive Signal chat.

Stelter was so busy pushing bogus stories about Russian Collusion and falling for the Jussie Smollet and Nick Sandmann hoaxes that it never occurred to him that the journalists who really matter in life are the ones who, you know, break news.

He would rather coordinate with his CNN buddies to get people like Alex Jones thrown off the internet.

They will claim because it’s because of misinformation and disinformation. But for those of us who remember the Meme Wars and how butthurt CNN got over anonymous twitter accounts with frog avatars making silly memes mocking CNN, it sure looks like they wanted him taken down because the mockery was taking a toll on their ratings.

They became a laughingstock… at just about the time that Andrew Breitbart’s dream of anyone with a phone and a social media account having the opportunity to be citizen journalist if they see something happening.

Is it our fault if the public has decided that the REAL ‘reliable sources’ are NOT to be found on CNN?

We’ve got people like Data Republian uncovering the funding networks.
We’ve got people like Nick Shirley going viral by pointing a camera at the very much empty ‘Learing Center’.
We’ve got people like 0Hour1 blowing the lid off of what’s really going on in those meetings and tracking down the real emails of people using the subversive apps.
We’ve got people like Cam Higby exposing what looks an awful lot like conspiracy involving DSA and elected officials looking to punish law enforcement that comes to the aid of Federal officials.

And that’s just scratching the surface of what citizens who know the right questions to ask or the right stones to turn over can do to restore the one thing most needed for a functional Republic — an electorate that knows the key relevant facts needed in evaluating a candidate.

Since journos have no interest in providing that civic service, others will step into the vacuum, while the potatoes sit around and wonder why they’ve faded into irrelevance.
