America, Wake Up: A Warning from “Janet”

I met an interesting lady named Janet, today, after the noon mass. She was born
in Egypt and emigrated to the United States in 1964.

She was passionate about saving our country from Obama, as she put it. She feels Obama is anti-American – unworthy to be president. She feels he favors Muslim countries, and doesn’t understand what he is doing in the Middle East – and what the Muslim Brotherhood is doing to Christians in Egypt – and what Muslims are doing to Christians throughout the Middle East.

She says she and her entire family and social community are fasting and praying feverishly for a Romney victory – to save the USA from Obama and his evil cohorts.

She implored me and our local priest to pray fervently for a Romney victory. She considers him to be an exceptional man with excellent values and knowledge and hope for the future. His election will prevent Obama from further destroying the country that she has come to love since leaving her homeland.

Her patriotism reminded me of my mother and father, who emigrated from Belgium to the USA in 1920, shortly after World War I. They were on fire for America. Like Janet, they greatly appreciated why the USA and the American-Way was so precious and superior to their homeland. Unfortunately, too many of our citizens take for granted all that we have in our great nation.
