IJ Review – The U.S. Senate Majority already lost, and two more years of a GOP House Majority ahead, the Democratic Party looked to the Governor’s races for hope for the future.
If the Democratic Party could win key Governor’s race, the party faithful could persuade themselves it was only “anti-incumbent” sentiment that led to its heavy losses, and the election was not a repudiation of progressive governance under President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
