Biden’s Transgender Czar Caught Putting Party Politics Ahead Of Medical Health

Where are all the ‘believe the science’ calls now that the gender pendulum is swinging back toward our traditional understandings?

Wherever they may have gone, we can say that some of the Biden Administration voices who ought be appealing to the highest scientific standards have — instead — been pushing an agenda behind the scenes.

The Pullback

In 2015, Johns Hopkins became the first hospital to STOP giving gender reassignment surgery as a treatment for sexual dysphoria.

Since then, the data has been gaining on — and overtaking — the activism in defining the terms of how we should respond to pressures to offer gender reassignment, puberty blockers, and ‘gender-affirming care’ as the catch-all response to gender dysphoria… especially as it’s being experienced by rising numbers of teens.

The United Kingdom’s damning Cass Report revealed that many of the studies on gender-affirming care for minors were flawed and that medical interventions were rushed ahead of counseling and other psychological interventions.

While the UK is putting on the brakes, North America is hitting the gas.

The Biden Admin’s Radical Trans Activism

Despite the hardcore enthusiasm the Biden Administration shows for this issue, a growing list of European countries that have previously embraced radical medical interventions have since reversed course. They did so in response to a variety of scientific studies shooting prevailing theories full of holes.

Not long ago, some bombshell reporting on the WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) shook official assumptions about the transgender movement. Serious breaches of medical ethics were exposed.

Admiral ‘Big Dick’ Levine

Enter the Biden Administration’s point-man on all things transgender — Admiral Rachel (formerly Richard) Levine, a transgender-identifying man who is now the Number 2 in the Department of Health and Human Services.

Not only is Rachel Levine a radical activist, but he’s been subverting and trying to override proper scientific inquiry into an entirely uncharted field of medical practice and/or malpractice.

Levine got wind that World Professional Association for Transgender Health, itself a hardcore lefty advocacy group helping drive the current gender crisis in America, was going to (gasp!) set recommended age minimums for gender-based medical interventions in its 2022 guidance.
She[sic] came down like a hammer, reaching out through backchannels to interfere.
WPATH wanted a minimum age of 14 for hormone treatment, 15 for mastectomies, 16 for breast augmentation and 17 for genital surgeries.
Levine wanted no limits whatsoever . . . especially for the surgeries.

But this is all for the benefit of these deeply troubled patients, right?

Eh… not so much.

But why the backchannel outreach? She’s[sic] the face of Biden’s transgender policy posture, after all.
Per an email revealed in a recent court filing, Levine was “confident, based on the rhetoric she[sic] is hearing in D.C., and from what we have already seen, that these specific listings of ages, under 18, will result in devastating legislation for trans care.”
In other words, if WPATH conceded an inch to medical reality, it might hurt Levine’s boss Joe Biden politically.
And WPATH, not shockingly, reportedly broke its own rules and defied the wishes of its own committee members to oblige this high-ranking and powerful government official (who plainly has the support of the president, or whoever makes decisions in this White House).

It was a political calculation to keep the Shambling Husk of Mediocrity in power so the extremists can continue to push the Overton Window further to the left with the slack-jawed, dementia-addled ‘moderate’ as the face of their party.

The worst part about it is that so-called ‘gender-affirming care’ is perhaps the worst course of treatment for children and teens suffering from gender dysphoria. The cure is often puberty itself since the vast majority of young people with gender dysphoria find those feelings have resolved after becoming adults.

But, like many other medical professionals that have drunk the Kool-Aid, ‘Big Dick’ Levine insists that even though he transitioned later in life after he had children, sterilizing and sexually mutilating pre-pubescent children is necessary because of the risk they face from… *checks notes*… society that won’t accept them and possible suicide, a threat that is frequently used to manipulate loving parents into these irreversible medical interventions while largely ignoring psychological factors that could be the real cause of the suicidal ideation. Transgender-identifying teens have higher rates of mental health problems than their non-trans-identifying peers.

And we have to listen to the obese man in a dress about how to handle healthcare because he’s marginalized for being an ugly woman. (To be fair, he was probably an ugly man, too.)

Extremists like Levine customarily claim that trans people are marginalized, at risk, oppressed by society, etc., so they must be given everything they want as soon as they ask for it no matter how nonsensical.
That concept then gets enshrined in policy and medical guidance and every other official posture.
In fact, the opposite is true.
Witness the fate of brave whistleblowers like Eithan Haim, the Texas surgeon now facing four felony charges for bringing to light the unethical and possibly illegal activities of doctors at America’s largest children’s hospital.
Or Jamie Reed, who was attacked by the ACLU for doing the same thing at a St. Louis gender clinic.
No, the power is (for the moment) on Levine’s side as she maneuvers to sweep away all guardrails around protecting kids from medical disasters.

So, ‘Big Dick’ Levine pushed to get his way not because it was the best treatment option for the youth suffering from this horrible, neo-Gnostic ideology that men can magically become women and vice-versa by wearing the right clothes and behaving a certain way, but because he and his ilk want to cling to power.

This is the Democratic Party.

Let’s hope that more Americans realize it before November.
