Faith and Science

liquid_experiment.pngHere’s a little challenge for the anti-Christian science fans out there.

A significant feature in the scientific method, is the idea that theories are falsifiable.

Long before that became the benchmark standard in the scientific method, the Apostle Paul gave the atheist everything he would possibly need to disprove Christianity.  If Christ is not raised from the dead, our faith is a lie.  (See 1 Cor 15 for the full context).

So all the anti-theist has to do is disprove the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, and the Christian faith will fall apart.  The only problem is, that there is no consensus by the critics.  Even the critics find flaws in each others’ logic.

Here is a list of the popular objections, together with some of their flaws.

I will go one step farther.  Which other worldview, of belief system — religious or irreligious — plainly states what facts would be sufficient to explode it?

What would be sufficient to disprove atheism, naturalism, Deepak and Oprah?  What are the criteria for disproving any of the competing world religions?
