Bombing Shows Our Leadership Is Weak, and Stupid

Additionally, as Larry Elder points out, the younger Tsarnaev received a ton of American education, instruction that likely reinforced mosque teachings: hate America.

The bombing also revealed an inability or unwillingness to share intelligence across agencies, a problem also revealed in the wake of 9/11, a problem our leaders have not solved even with 12 years of experience and billions of our dollars funding ballooning bureaucracy.  Weak. And stupid.

And how about another absurd dimension to all this: a Saudi national, member of the royal family, wounded in Boston, one not enrolled in Ohio as per his student visa, a visa that is lapsed, one listed on a no fly list apparently, one with known ties in various directions to terrorism. This “person of interest” after the bombing was interrogated for hours and his place searched.  He was provided medical care and visited by Michele Obama even as a Saudi prince visited the President thanks to a hurry-up unscheduled meeting.  And low and behold the student is no longer “of interest“, but he is spirited away, location unknown.

Not just weak and stupid: highly suspicious, provoking calls for congressional investigations.

In summation, this bombing has clearly shown weakness and stupidity in the Executive Branch including DHS and DOJ, in the education system, in the immigration process, in law enforcement and intelligence gathering, in the welfare system, and in the minds of leaders who continue to insist Islam is a religion of peace despite the facts. People brainwashed by political correctness are immune to facts.

When Osama bin Laden proclaimed Islam would defeat us by using our own system against us, he issued a prophetic statement now fulfilled in the actions and policies of Barack Obama and like-minded leaders.  In this sense, Obama did not kill Osama.  Instead, he is giving him new life.

Weak.

And stupid.
