To the Rescue: Can Men Like Tommy Robinson (EDL) Save Britain?
In the immediate aftermath of the recent Islamic butchering of a British soldier in broad daylight on a London street, Twitter was awash in outrage — but not so much against the Muslim terrorists. The massive outrage and hatred was directed against the controversial protest movement known as the English Defence League.
You read that right. Endless numbers of deranged, brainwashed, politically-correct people took to social media to denounce (in the most derisive and hateful words) not the fact that murderous Muslims had once again made a gruesome public display of jihad on English soil — and boldly rubbed the nation’s face in Lee Rigby’s blood — but the fact that an angry group of Englishmen would dare hold a rally on the evening of the barbaric atrocity.
The EDL, you see, consists mainly of patriotic, white British men who are highly concerned about the spread of militant Islam, and Islamic gangs, in Britain. The EDL’s comprehensive ranks these days are actually comprised of a wide variety of races, religions, dispositions, and education levels, but the politically-correct media has succeeded in smearing them as nothing more than a bunch of rabid racists and football hooligans who are about making trouble and stirring up hatred, and not much else.
The authoritarian crackdown and cyber-hysteria against those few who dare object to having their country hijacked by 7th-century savages is nauseating to observe. In just the last week in Britain, an 85-year-old lady was arrested and charged with a hate crime for yelling invective outside a mosque. In a separate incident, a pregnant woman was handcuffed in the street and dragged off by police for the crime of displaying a British flag (the flag offended nearby Muslims, you see). In the video, you can see the police allowing the Union Jack to drag on the ground as they stuff the expectant mother into the paddy wagon.
Outspoken Muslim extremist clerics make no secret of their ideology’s explicit agenda to conquer Western lands in a matter of decades: through legal and illegal immigration, rapid third-world birthrates, filing endless aggressive lawsuits, terrorizing host populations with random bombings and grisly murders, gang attacks, rioting, grooming young girls for rape, and fully exploiting the generous and naively-administered liberal welfare state for the purposes of jihad. Of course, there’s also opening more and more mosques and sharia courts (there are 85 sharia courts in London), and creating more Islamic-stronghold neighborhoods as “no-go zones” where the police are afraid to patrol.
Speaking of patrols — blogs and Youtube now feature videos of aggressive gangs of Muslims patrolling British streets at night, enforcing strict sharia law and harassing British nightclubbers.
Meanwhile, whites have actually become a minority in London(!), and “Mohammed” has been the #1 choice of names for newborn baby boys in the United Kingdom for several years now.
Truth be told, there are a number of racists and hooligans mixed in among the EDL. I say, so what? Officially, the EDL strongly denounces racism of any kind, and completely disavows violence as a tactic. Further below, I describe just how diverse the movement has become. But if the fringe, belligerent white nationalist element are one ingredient in the overall recipe it takes to save England from the menacing spread of Mohammedan terror and aggression, so be it.
For that matter, the British government and police have shown themselves again and again to be more concerned with coddling Islamic hate-preachers and with protecting mosques than they are with protecting the British homeland from Islamo-fascism. Someone has to step up and do the job.
Enter Tommy Robinson, formerly known as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. Himself having somewhat of a checkered past as a football brawler and upstart, winding up on the wrong side of authority on several occasions, he and his mates started the English Defence League in his hometown of Luton in 2009, in response to the aggressive and extremely offensive Muslim demonstrations against parades of British troops returning from duty in Afghanistan.
Having had some success earlier in life as a businessman, Robinson and his wife and three children now reside in a secret location under 24-hour police protection, due to numerous credible death threats from devout Muslims and from who-knows-who. Tommy has been severely beaten and wounded by Muslims on at least one occasion, less severely assaulted on others. He and his followers have frequently resorted to concealing their identities with balaclavas, out of concern for their own safety, not to mention the ever-present threat of being thrown in jail by the politically-correct British authorities for the thought-crime of “racism and religious hatred,” or whatever the newest-legislated Orwellian tyranny dreamed up against uppity white natives.
