SPILLING AMERICAN BLOOD: Why Iran Will Never Be Our BFF!
So the manufactured clock ticks down on an Iranian deal (that only the Mullahs & Obama want). A “deal” that spells disaster for America and its allies, and lets Iran pull out the party hats and light the fuse on a global nuclear nightmare.
Aside from what part of PERNICIOUSLY STUPID does the White House not understand…any deal or negotiation with Iran should be an affront to every patriotic, freedom-loving American.
Why, you ask? Iran, prior to 9/11, had more American blood on its hands than any other terror entity. Let me count the ways…
— November 4, 1979 – Following the Iranian Revolution, radical Iranian students stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and took 66 Americans hostage for 444 days. The hostages were beaten, placed in solitary confinement for extended periods of time, regularly forced to have their hands bound, and “threatened repeatedly with execution. (Ronald Reagan ended the crisis by taking the oath of office.)
— 1982-1992 – Lebanon Hostage Crisis spanned a full decade during which Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah abducted foreign nationals in Lebanon. Of the 96 abducted, 25 were U.S. citizens.
October 23, 1983 – 241 U.S. Marines (in Beirut as peacekeepers) were murdered as they slept, and over 100 more wounded when an Iranian suicide bomber drove a truck carrying the equivalent of 15,000-21,000 pounds of TNT into the U.S. Marine Barracks at Beirut International Airport. This was considered the largest non-nuclear explosion that had ever been detonated on the face of the Earth. The bombing was also the deadliest terrorist attack on Americans prior to 9/11.
— December 9, 1983 – Hezbollah bombed the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait, killing 5 and injuring 86.
— January 19, 1984 – Malcolm Kerr (Prof. at American University Beirut, AND father of Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors) was assassinated, execution style, by Hezbollah.
— March 16, 1984 – Lieutenant Colonel William F. Buckley was taken hostage, skinned alive and later assassinated by Hezbollah.
— September 20, 1984 – Hezbollah bombed the U.S. Embassy Annex in East Beirut – 24 people were killed when a van carrying 3,000 pounds of explosives was detonated outside the U.S. Embassy.
— June 14, 1985 – Hezbollah hijacks TWA Flight 847, tortured and killed U.S. Navy Seabee Robert Stethem, then dumped his body on the tarmac.
— January 25, 1996 – Iran-backed Hezbollah bombed the Khobar Towers, a U.S. military housing complex in Saudi Arabia, left 19 Americans dead and 372 injured.
— 2003-2011 – Iran gave strategic support to insurgents in the Iraq War. In 2010, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq James Jeffery stated, “Up to a quarter [4,400] of the American casualties, and some of the more horrific incidents in which Americans were kidnapped…can be traced without doubt to these Iranian groups.”
— 2006-2014 – Iran gave strategic and monetary support to Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan. According to the Treasury Department, “since at least 2006, Iran has arranged frequent shipments of small arms and associated ammunition, rocket propelled grenades, mortar rounds, 107 mm rockets, plastic explosives, and probably man-portable defense systems to the Taliban.” Through “Qods force material support,” the report stated “we believe Iran is seeking to inflict casualties on U.S. and NATO forces.” In 2010, multiple media sources reported Iran was “paying Taliban fighters $1,000 for each U.S. soldier they kill in Afghanistan.” Over a six-month period in 2010, one “Taliban treasurer” claimed to have collected “more than $77,000 from [an Iranian firm in Kabul]” as payment for killing Americans.
Most Americans, thanks to the Mainstream Media’s selective amnesia concerning facts, are clueless to the extent of how deep Iran’s bloody talons have sunk into America’s heart.
Considering the preponderance of evidence against Iran…they will never be our BFF…
…neither should they be a partner in ANY deal.
