DRIVER’S LICENSES FOR ILLEGALS: It Will Affect Americans More Than They Know

This is what happens when you water down the system, bowing to liberal ideas about non-citizens and the issuance of a state driver’s license.

The document is no longer valid for one of its original purposes and a stronger proof of citizenship is required.

With such lax laws, US citizens are going to be inconvenienced and have to put out additional funds for a passport. Not everyone desires to have a passport, or has a reason to obtain one, as they do not wish to leave the country.

Why are non-citizens being issued a driver’s license? Supposedly, it is to benefit them by making it legal to purchase a car and car insurance. Hopefully, they use it to do that, but why isn’t the license changed in some way to reflect the status of the individual?

Why does the average American have to suffer for standards that have been altered to fit someone who is flying below the radar of the law?

American liberties are being eroded on a constant basis to allow for special interest groups or due to more government control over daily life.

Up until a few years ago, an American citizen could enter Mexico or Canada on the strength of their driver’s license and a birth certificate. It was a privilege that is now lost.

When ordinary documents that should signify citizenship are compromised, it allows for additional invasion of liberties and American citizens are becoming more and more disillusioned and distressed by the loss. In 2006, 91% of Americans were happy with their level of freedoms. In 2014, the level had dropped to 79%.

That is a twelve point difference in only eight years. (Can anyone think of why it is such a problem during this time frame? Could it be the current administration?)

The effort of the Federal government and the Supreme Court to control and circumvent the States’ laws and the States’ rights is rising. There is talk of a Convention of States, as allowed by Article V of the Constitution.

It is time for the public to drop its apathy and start standing up for what is being done to us by the politicians that The People sent to the Beltway.

The People are in charge, effectively the boss, of the representatives in the House and the Senate, even the White House.

Just because on the average, most people have a place to live and car, doesn’t mean that all is well. In the last eight years, life style and standard of living have decreased.
The Misery Index is an economic indicator created by Arthur Okun, and is found by adding the unemployment rate to the inflation rate. It is assumed that both a higher rate of unemployment and a worsening of inflation create economic and social costs for a country.

In an article by Paul Bedard, it is reported by a Wall Street Advisor that actual unemployment is at 37%, not the 6.7% advertised by the Feds. The Feds missed the Misery Index as well, advertising 8%, when it is actually 14%.

The time has come to wake up and smell the deception that is being spewed out as propaganda by the current administration.

If the American People don’t start demanding productive results from the elected officials, and don’t speak up when they see an erosion of liberty, all that is good about the United States will be lost. The ideals of the Republic are holding on by its fingernails, as it is. It would only take one more ridiculously bad administration to push it into oblivion.
