GOVERNMENT CHEESE: Not All ‘Repeals’ Need Replacing

To: The Honorable POTUS Donald Trump:
Dear Mr. President:
In reference to your or congressional efforts to repeal and replace obama care (his name is not worth being capitalized), please place your current efforts on repealing obama care and ignore the replacement for now.
After repeal you can work for a market based approach that does not contain subsidies. This may include guaranteed enrollment despite preexisting conditions on a one-time basis the first year it’s in effect.
I believe that citizens should care for themselves, and if they don’t enroll the first year and later become uninsurable it’s on them. Any market-based approach needs to include that if no insurance then there is not guaranteed medical care, and medical providers may require payment upfront.
Will this result in lost lives? Yes! But, citizens need the incentive to at least maintain catastrophic insurance or they won’t. I don’t believe in income redistribution. The same for food stamps and housing assistance ad nauseam. Place them in the military for their room and board, requiring enlistment for salary purposes. Children on welfare? Everyone gets three years. After three years they are required to serve in the military for an equal period of time to repay for their care.
Don’t pay taxes, you don’t get to vote unless you are a veteran in the service or honorably discharged. This country is going broke and we can’t allow the freeloaders to vote, receiving higher and/or more benefits.
I would like to see you use your Presidential pulpit to advocate for an Article V convention of states to limit the power of the federal government, especially of the courts.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely Yours,
Michael Martin

Mike Martin thanks you for the opportunity to express “different points of views”, and if you were to ask his family they would probably tell you that he’s as different as they come…
