DEAR BRUCE: This ACCLAIMED Psychiatrist Just Called BS On Your Transgenderism

Does Bruce still get to keep his Woman Of The Year trophy?

The Left ‘loves science’, right? They have marches for it.

They taunt Conservatives about policy because — presumably — we’re so narrow-minded we can look through a keyhole with both eyes.

So you’d think they’d be doing cartwheels about this ‘new revelation’.

It’s bringing genetic and biological clarity and understanding to a contentious topic that was unnecessarily politicized.

And the research came from the very place that pioneered the surgical practice of gender reassignment. What more could such staunch fans of science wish for?

They might wish for something that confirms the lie they’ve so deeply invested in.

Be ready to see this doctor called a ‘fake’ researcher, in exactly the same way that the Media (D) denounced Fox News and the Bloggers on the right (whose source materials were usually linked) as ‘fake news’.

If you can’t REFUTE someone, the only remaining option is to silence.

What study could do such terrible harm to their precious narrative?

Well, since the Left makes a Big Deal about someone’s credentials (Unless you were famous for wearing a lab coat on kids shows… then you get a free pass) let’s introduce the doctor first.

Dr. Paul R. McHugh, the Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former psychiatrist–in-chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital, who has studied transgendered people for 40 years

Forty years? Wow. That’s a sizeable body of work. Long enough to spot some trends firsthand probably.

What does the good doctor have to tell us?

it is a scientific fact that “transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men.” (source)

Ruh-roh. Did he just utter…

…Heresy???

Wait. It gets better. He’s just getting started.

All such people, he explained in an article for The Witherspoon Institute, “become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’”

Dr. McHugh, who was psychiatrist-in-chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital for 26 years, the medical institute that had initially pioneered sex-change surgery – and later ceased the practice – stressed that the cultural meme, or idea that “one’s sex is fluid and a matter of choice” is extremely damaging, especially to young people.

The idea that one’s sexuality is a feeling and not a biological fact “is doing much damage to families, adolescents, and children and should be confronted as an opinion without biological foundation wherever it emerges,” said Dr. McHugh in his article, Transgenderism: A Pathogenic Meme.

“I am ever trying to be the boy among the bystanders who points to what’s real,” said Dr. McHugh, who is also professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins. “I do so not only because truth matters, but also because overlooked amid the hoopla—enhanced now by Bruce Jenner’s celebrity and Annie Leibovitz’s photography—stand many victims.”(source)

Truth?

Victims?

Young people?

You mean… social ‘justice’ warriors have been fighting for the wrong cause all this time? Even science says so?

And we haven’t even gotten to the evidence part yet.

“Transgendered men do not become women, nor do transgendered women become men,” he said. “All (including Bruce Jenner) become feminized men or masculinized women, counterfeits or impersonators of the sex with which they ‘identify.’ In that lies their problematic future.”

…“Ten to 15 years after surgical reassignment, the suicide rate of those who had undergone sex-reassignment surgery rose to 20 times that of comparable peers,” said McHugh. (source)

(translation, the surgery didn’t solve the underlying problem … if it did, the suicides would NOT still be so elevated.)

Rather than just draw from a single source… let’s look at some completely unrelated research — Research studying genetics.

Men and women differ in obvious and less obvious ways — for example, in the prevalence of certain diseases or reactions to drugs. How are these connected to one’s sex? Weizmann Institute of Science researchers recently uncovered thousands of human genes that are expressed — copied out to make proteins — differently in the two sexes. Their findings showed that harmful mutations in these particular genes tend to accumulate in the population in relatively high frequencies, and the study explains why. The detailed map of these genes, reported in BMC Biology, provides evidence that males and females undergo a sort of separate, but interconnected evolution.

…Pietrokovski and Gershoni looked closely at around 20,000 protein-coding genes, sorting them by sex and searching for differences in expression in each tissue. They eventually identified around 6,500 genes with activity that was biased toward one sex or the other in at least one tissue. For example, they found genes that were highly expressed in the skin of men relative to that in women’s skin, and they realized that these were related to the growth of body hair. Gene expression for muscle building was higher in men; that for fat storage was higher in women. –(source)

Frankly, you shouldn’t need a degree to figure that out. Male pattern baldness does not affect men and women equally.

Neither does colorblindness. Or migraines.

Heart attack symptoms for ladies are much more subtle and difficult to pick up on than the crushing chest pain men feel.

But if any of us says the Emporer is wearing no clothes, we’ll be thrown out into outer darkness. Or at least suppressed and labelled as fake news.

Because when you get right down to it? The narrative is more important than Science.

Share if you think Bruce should give that Woman of the Year award back.
