It’s not just a crackdown on people who aren’t supposed to be here, either. Even the legal immigrants will have to show that they can pay their own freight.
We love hard-working LEGAL immigrants, but living here is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. And our social safety net isn’t intended for any stray showing up on our doorstep asking for a free ride. We have people who are actually from here that need our help.
