Twitter BANS Marsha Blackburn’s Pro-Life Ad, Blackburn Fights Back – Here’s The Results

A video for this Tennessee Congresswoman’s Senate bid was nixed by Twitter for being ‘inflammatory’ but guess what happened?

The big stink Twitter made about the video has thrust Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) into the spotlight and has given her campaign a boost, New York Magazine reports.

At issue was one portion of the ad where Rep. Blackburn says, ‘I’m 100 percent pro-life. I fought Planned Parenthood and we stopped the sale of baby body parts, thank God.

Twitter banned the ad because that portion was ‘deemed an inflammatory statement that is likely to evoke a negative reaction.’

They told her vendors that in order to have her video run, the offensive line would have to be removed.

This is nothing new for Twitter.

They have allowed Planned Parenthood free reign to promote abortion but have slapped down pro-life groups for showing ultrasounds of babies in the womb because that falls under the ‘inflammatory’ label.

They’ve also determined what is and is not an acceptable ‘political statement’ in relation to abortion.

And they’ve allowed outlandish, politically charged statements from Planned Parenthood, but block innocuous quotes by ProLife groups like Live Action:

That’s pretty disgusting.

Fortunately, in the case of Blackburn’s ad they’ve backtracked on their initial ban.  They’re allowing the video to remain on the platform.  It’s getting a lot of attention.

Here is Twitter’s backpedaling statement:

Our ads policies strive to balance protecting our users from potentially distressing content while allowing our advertisers to communicate their messages. Nowhere is this more difficult than in the realm of political advertising and the highly charged issues that are often addressed therein. After further review, we have made the decision to allow the content in question from Rep. Blackburn’s campaign ad to be promoted on our ads platform.

While we initially determined that a small portion of the video used potentially inflammatory language, after reconsidering the ad in the context of the entire message, we believe that there is room to refine our policies around these issues.

Well, look at that!  They got shamed into allowing a woman to say that she is ProLife!

Congratulations on rediscovering the First Amendment, Twitter!

Don’t listen to what the Media (D) is saying — this is a culture war, and guess what?

We’re winning.  #MAGA

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa’s A Patriotic Badass.

Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa’s A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.
